I smells a bamboozle! When Chris tells us that he can't get there getting the breaks playing barbox nine ball there is a lot more to the story and it ain't just the player.
Hu
all i can say is that must be the gayest pool table in america
he gives up the break and gets every ball wild come on people
i still don't like the game giving him the break on a bar table
I second that Hu. Seems something's fishy in Denmark, er, uh, Athens, Alabama. (The young'uns are probably not old enough to know that phrase....it means "ca-hoots", trickeration or like you said, "bamboozled")
Chris's heart is as big as Ohio. There's 100% something more to this story that WE don't know about.
Where's a pool-detective when you need one!
How many will take the break on a barbox, and if the other player makes a ball they win? Henny has lost at this everytime in Athens. A top player will give up the wild 5 on a barbox before he gives up the break to a weaker player that can run out. I do remember many years ago, Allen Hopkins beat everyone who would bet playing this way on a valley barbox,no ball in hand, in Manchester,Tn at a place called Sissy's. For the person who lives in Athens, you have 2 diamond barboxes,1 diamond 4 1/2x9 and a diamond 4x8 all pro-cut at Ricky Peppers poolroom across the tracks from the old poolroom. I know i would rather have the break over the wild 5 on a barbox.
