And most businesses that make money take advantage of people. Name me one that doesn't. Does Bill Gates and all his CEOs, VPs, etc. really all need to be worth billions?
The Rip Off Report.
Some good stories here.
I mean, this company was designed for one sole purpose, and that was to steal money
from people that were desperate and had little to begin with.
Once people figured out that they were getting taken advantage of, they tried to cancel.
That didn't deter anyone from Consumer credit Services from debiting their bank accounts anyway.
Theft, pure and simple.
One group of people eating pork and beans and Eric, eating prime rib and farting in their general direction while having a good laugh.
Read some of the stories and don't ever claim that Eric P is a nice guy.
Why? Because nice people don't treat others like he and his company did, thats why.

don't kick someone when they are down - cause you never know. kharma.
Well, isn't that exactly what Eric and his company did. Pick the most vulnerable and kick them further, when all most were doing is trying to keep their heads above water.
Its easy to get a bad credit rating, specially with credit cards and all it takes is for someone to lose their job and be struggling for a month or 2.
I remember reading one story, (Rip Off Report), a particular sad one, and yes, it involved a returning Vet to his wife and family. The average Military person doesn't make a ton. These people were just looking for a leg up.
What company doesn't try and make as much money as they can. Only thing is, big difference between offering merchandise or a service or just out right theft.
Make all the excuses you want for Eric, there was absolutely no justification in what Consumer Credit was doing for the years that they were in business.
People were led to believe that by using Consumers Credit cards, they were rebuilding their credit rating. False, they had zero ability to do that for a person.
People were led to believe that they were making, and would receive either of the 2 credit cards mentioned. Another out right lie.
Cool, for those of you that have never ridden in a Lambo, keep on the good side of Eric, he may take you for a ride some day. Pun Intended.
Me, if I ever make it to Vegas again, I'll just rent a 1/2 ton or a Harley to go touring.
Pink. Reminds me of 2 more sayings.
Every dog has its day. And.
When the chickens come home to roost.

what's important is where his head is now
it takes an emotional event,
to change habitual behaviour.
Well, as a couple of months ago, I guess thats where his head is at.
Nope, no life changing experiences, no epiphanies. Still sitting Fat on the Misfortune of others. And with New Toys on top of it.
Yep, pretty much the same habitual behavior on AZ that is known as Eric.
Why all the distaste for Eric? He seems like a likable enough fellow and I don't think I recall him saying bad things about anyone. I've e-mailed and corresponded with him on several occasions and he's pleasant enough. I know he usually mentions his money and/or possessions and that can be irritating, mostly because I have neither.
P.S. He does not play good pool.
Seriously, what gives?

It's how he made his money, by taking advantage of people.
Also, how he comes to the forums and talks about what all he has and how he has called everyone else suckers who will never amount to anything. So what if you corresponded with him and he was nice. He's rubbed so many people the wrong way with his attitude and to boot, he's been forgiven on numerous occasions for his tirades, only to come back with more of an attitude than ever.
He thinks he's the only person in the world with money, and craps on everyone else. He is an awful player. If you'd like to see him play, look up the Fatboy classic or whatever it is called when he played in the ring game and had no business even racking for all the other players in it.
The few people who swing from him thinking that they will somehow fall into some money or rub elbows with his royal heinous are the only group of people that really like him.
Read his posts, look him up on internet, form your own conclusions.
It seems that this thread has nothing to do with pool except for the 1st post and it's just turned into a thread for people to vent.

and perhaps your post, will hit home....
for some dumbass reason, i can't get this song out of my head this morning -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQrTGE4wwwA
- i'm sure it has nothing to do with thinking about pool.
A lot of memories associated with Jim Croce's music. From his light songs to his more serious stuff I think he was as gifted a songwriter as anyone of his generation. I can't help wondering how much we lost when he died every time I hear one of his songs.
Bookmarked the youtube link, I'll spend a few hours listening to music before the day is out, thanks!

Eric is good people's....
Everyone that I know who has actually met him and not gone by his internet persona only, agrees with me on this point.
