How good is earl playing these days,it looks like to me he is about 100%,,he is just steam rolling some great players lately,i guess we will see tonite,earl is playing mika,i hope earl wins the tournament,this would make his up coming match with svb even more exciting,because most people think earl has no chance against svb,so if earl wins this tournament maybe more people will give him a better chance.YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST,EARL IS GOING TO SHOCK THE WORLD AND DESTROYED SVB IN OHIO,all right before you all tell me how crazy iam take it easy on your fellow azer,iam not feeling very good to day i dont know if i hit my head or not when i was sleeping.OH AND BTW I WILL BE THERE IN PERSON TO MAKE BETS IN OHIO,BY NOW AND THEN I SHOULD HAVE A REAL GOOD LINE ON THIS MATCH,A FAIR BETTING LINE.

25 years ago, I overheard somebody say that the only person that can beat Earl, IS Earl. I believed that then, and I still believe that now.
About 6 months ago, I told Earl that there will never be another player that can come close to duplicating any of his records. He looked at me, nodded and said, "Damn right nobody will ever come close. That'd be impossible."
LOL... he's right!
So, to me, Earl is the man that set the bar for what even he considers to be "impossible". That's how good he was.
Earl also said, "People go around talking $hit like they know sumthin - and they don't - and the funny part is that they think I can't still win, but I got a surprise for 'em."
Earl won the Mizerak event in Florida 2 months after he said that.
That's how good he still is.

Boy this is all so true,at dcc where ever you seen earl there was lots of people around him at all times,i was watching earl practice, one after the other would come up to earl for a picture or autograph,not 1 person was turned down while i was watching,when they put earl on the tv table it was standing room only every time,svb or any other pool player has the drawing power that earl has,love him or hate him,every body wants to be around him!
He has to be to carry around a 63" cue that weighs 26oz.!

I really hope the Earl can come with a monster game when he plays Shane in a few weeks. I can't wait to go watch it live. I really fear that Shane will dominate, but I hope that it ends up being a back and forth battle with the final only being a few games different. I'm pulling for Earl just to see an epic match.
