Depending on what time of day it is, I see quite a few of what I'd call "regulars" on AzBilliards Discussion Forum. I know I'm always taking a peek at this forum when I am working. :p

It's a habit, I think, being hooked up to the Internet for work reasons, searching on Google for correct spellings, et cetera. :o

This is a blind poll, meaning nobody will know how you voted. So even the lurkers can be comfortable casting their votes.

How long do you spend on this forum? I am interested to see how the membership, at least those who read this thread, vote. :D

And be truthful! ;)

Edited: Thanks, Hamster! Before the thread peaked, I had to take a peek, as you piqued my interest! :D

I check it out pretty thoroughly at least once a day. The time varies with my work schedule rotating all 3 shifts, but I'm on & off probably 5-6 times after that just checking around or glancing at a post I want to follow.

I would say the total time I'm on AZB everyday on average is maybe 30 minutes or less. If I see some of my favorite posters have something going, then I check in often. Or, if there's a major tournament going on, my time here increases to follow those threads.

Several times, I have taken hiatuses from reading AzBilliards Discussion Forum.

I must admit that in the morning time, as I'm sipping my Pleasant Morning Buzz coffee, I like reading this forum. Some folks like to read The Wall Street Journal or The Washington Post. Me, I like reading AzBilliards. :D

During the hiatuses, I initially felt the void and experienced a little angst looking for some worthy morning reading material as I was trying to wake up. :p

After a week or two, though, I didn't miss it at all.

I have met many AzBilliards lurkers who state they will never post on the forum because once they start, then they have to keep checking back for any and all responses, and it represents, for lack of a better word, a mental commitment. Not posting and just reading, in other words, seemed like a better fit for the lurkers.

At any rate, I'm on here now procrastinating a horrible job that I have already decided I can't finish today. ;)

I've been on here off and on at least 12 hours today since I woke up.

I'm now thinking a better poll for this thread would have been how many times do you CLICK your mouse on AzBilliards a day!

I'll bet it more times than the amount of balls you hit in a day.

In my case, that's definitely so! :D

You forgot the option '8 hours a day, while I'm supposed to be working'
What he said- I open a window w/ AZB and leave it up all day, checking when I can.

No vote option between 2-12 hrs. You are slipping, Poll-maker!@

That would be Option No. 2! :D

I probably should have inserted more options, as there are no votes cast for Option No. 1 and Option No. 4 as of the time of this writing! :o

During the IPT scandal I was on here constantly, much like the of the OJ Trial. I got all caught up in that and wasted a whole lot of time. Like a soap opera I could have tuned in Friday and caught up on it all in about 20 minutes.

I get irritated sometimes like most, but for the most part it is fun and there are some pretty witty people on here and some who really know how to push buttons. I like viewing and watching them set some up.

There are many on here I would like to meet in person, but I donn't get around to big events like I used to and certainly don't play the speed I used to and watching pool has become to me like watching paint dry.

All in all AZ is a great place and if you can't find it here, it probably can't be foun. Mike and his crew have done a great service to the pool world and allow us to enjoy all this for nothing. UNREAL!

Thanks AZ>

I think I have been logged on to this forum for about a 300 days straight...
I usually leave it signed on at work..We have a filter that kicks in during peak use hours and it blocks the site BUT only if I am not already on it :D

If I dont logg off the filter cant catch me and kick me out..and since I never turn off the office Pc or the home PC I am always logged on...

actual use varies.. I drop in and check on things every few hours.. more so if I hooked on a thread or shopping the WFS..

Depends upon how busy I am. Some days I don't get in here at all, other days I'm in here off and on all day.
I'd prefer I was too busy to come in at all, makes me feel more secure about my job. :)

Congratulations on winning the raffle for that beautiful cue at the "place that shall remain nameless".

Let me guess. Is it the color of purple? :D

Thank you, it really tops off my "collection" such as it is.

The cue isn't, but the place might be.

I kind of figured that!

Congratulations on winning the cue!

As an aside, knowing how particular KM is on his cue -- skinny butt, long taper, 4.0-plus ounce shaft, hard tip, forward balance, Irish linen wrap, and 20-plus ounce in weight -- I often wondered when people do win pool cues if they are put to good use.

In other words, when a cue is a prize in a raffle, it isn't necessarily tailored for your likes and dislikes, or is it?
