I remember someone telling me that he had more than two cues, and I thought he was crazy. The first time I had more than two cues, I thought I was crazy. Someone told me about 10 years ago that he had over 100 shafts. I thought he was crazy. I was counting up my shafts. When I hit 40, I knew I was absolutely stone cold nutz.

Holy shit, if that is your cue collection and your wife is ahead. I can only imagine the type of diamonds she has in that jewerly box.

It is on her ring finger (engagement ring). Best investment I ever made. I paid $700 for it in 1967. Sold my 63 Vette for $2000 at the time and was glad to get it. Bought a 67 for $4450. 427/435 hp with side exhaust. Was earning $3.27 an hour at the time as a millwright apprentice.
Life has been good.

She mostly has pearls, tanzanite, alexandrite, rubies, emeralds and crap like that. Looks like glass to me. Claims she has the diamond she wanted???

I see you list yourself as a engineer. Went to night school for 6 years and earned my BS degree in civil. What a difference in life style and pay that made. One of the smarter things I did in life.

Went to school year round for 3 yrs, and I became an Electromagnetic Engineer. I've only been at it for a little over a year, but my co-workers keep telling me to stick with it and it will pay off in time. So i'm hoping someday i can list a cue collection like this.

I'm just a poor working stiff so I've only got the cues listed in my signature. My avatar pic is of my 2 McDermotts. Maybe when I don't have 3 kids at home I'll buy a few different cues, but I'm not the collecting type of guy. If I have it, I'm gonna use it.

Hi Charlie,

That is an awesome collection of the Meucci Originals. I had no idea you had that many. You should start a web site for Meucci Collectors.

Wife says too many, I say not enough!

Main player, custom Tim Scrugg's, I designed.
5 Runde era Schon's
New Ernie Martinez coming tomorrow, if FedEx gets here!
And at least ten other cues that are not big names, but hit pretty good since I tinkered with them. Always looking for a good buy on something that might be interesting.

Yo Chris

Hi Chris

Great to hear from u again, I c u are still prowling AZ for more Qs. Yes, I have a bunch of those old Meucci Qs. If my memory serves me correctly, I got several from u. One I remember well was the 88-3 Series Spear Q. In new condition and with the darkest blue I have ever seen on any of Spear Q. Most are a faded shade as they say the dark blue was very difficult to work with. U are great to deal with and I can highly recommend u to anyone. I have them all on wall racks in my pool room. The longest single rack holds 45 Qs. I am still looking for some Dominiak Model 1009, that's the one with the 36 inlays of spear points/diamonds like the like I showed in my post above with the Snakewood/Ebony.

I would imagine u have about the same number of Palmers as I have Meucci Originals. U have a great collection of some very rare Qs. I probably should have started collecting Palmers like u. Or perhaps Richard Black or other top names. I never did get over to try to buy that Palmer from my friend. Can't remember the model # but it is the one that even has the fancy shafts like the one in your avatar. I would love to have one of them. But then my divorce (do u know any pretty single your girls) took all my $:( , so now I just dream. Take care old friend.

Charlie
