How many cues do you make a year?

I was curious how many cues does the typical cue maker make every year?

I make around 7 or 8 from scratch, and I convert around 10. However, this year I am more busy than ever before and only time will tell.

Typical Cue-maker??????
Is there a typical? Oh well.

Demands for my time are such that I'll be lucky doing 20 this year.
Building is what I really love to do but Seyberts comes first.
Sey pays the bills and unfortunately, there's no money in building.
Particularly right now, you've got to go where the money is.
Like Craig, for some reason, I'm busier now than I have ever been in my life.
I'm not 'rolled-up' tough enough to where I can just say "screw it" and I've still got things I want to do.
I'm done being cold so a second location may be in the offing.
Can you say SNOW-BIRD?

Typical cue manker ? If you build cues then by default you are not typical LOL ! I build about 10+ per year but this year Im looking to do a few more, as time allows, or my "job", or my wife, or my bills etc lol.

My question is directed to all types of makers it's not a race. I am just curious as to what is the output.

Counting both what I do myself and what my helpers do for me, I doubt we produce much more than three dozen a year. Take the jump break cues out of it and maybe it is 10 to 12 one of a kind cues a year. Some years are more and some are less.

All of them! Just kidding! I make around 30-40 cues a year depending! Sometime less sometimes more!

I make around "0" as time allows  but do a lot of repairs. I'm stashing some nice woods and buying up a few machines hoping for a little time in the near future to devote to building.

I expect to make about 15 this year, but the way my "real" job is looking, I probably need to ramp the number up a bit.

Hi, 26 in the last 12 months. I currently own a pool hall and it is hard serving 2 masters. I am selling my pool hall at this time to dedicate all my time into cue making on a 100% basis. Rick Geschrey
