How many threads are you subscribed to?

I guess I just do not use that function to much. It is a good thing though to follow something that gets buried in all the aiming threads and trivial questions.:sorry:

I have used it a few times and it did come in very handy ! :cool:

I sometimes subscribe to threads even though I don't post in them.

Also, the system AUTOMATICALLY subscribes me to a thread that I post in like handemhigh. Maybe it's different or you can set the system for no subscription or automatic subscription.

If I post in a thread, I want to the system to automatically pop up that thread for me to review, if someone posted in that particular thread so that I can know to reply to a person's question or simply to interact on that thread.

I think that all users are subscribed to any thread they actually post on.

under the 'userCP' tab you can check on what your subscribed threads have done over night with the last 'new post' listed.

I usually check my userCP when I log in.. then check the new postings.

My settings are set for No Email Notification. Messaging & Notification
Receive EmailFrom time to time, the administrators may want to send you email notices.


Default Thread Subscription ModeWhen you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.
Do not subscribe No email notification Instant email notification Daily email notification Weekly email notification Default Thread Subscription Mode:

There are a few different settings that you can choose for subscribing or not subscribing to threads. One benefit for the No email notification is that you don't get pestered with an email every time someone else posts in the thread. Another is if it is a thread that you like, and like you said, you can check your USER CP and it will show ONLY the threads that you are subscribed to. That helps cut down on finding threads that you posted in pr are interested in.
 
I am subscribed to 24 threads, and only a couple of them have email notification. I guess I am just real picky on my subscriptions.

Not really. That's only one subscription for every 12 posts. Look at JoeyA. He is subscribed to one thread for every 2.5 posts. That is a lot of subscriptions.

And to keep with the thread, I have zero. Have thought about it, just never have.
