Dont know what bank pool players have to do with the 15 ball ghost? But, unless you're Efren, the odds are very long against!

Assume you mean that if a top bank pool player breaks a rack hard and takes ball in hand, what is the over/under for how many banks they will make. I'll take a stab at it. I'll guess that over 2 1/2 should be a win over the ghost, otherwise it's a loss.

If John Brumback did that, got a decent spread at all on the break, he would average more than 2 1/2 with ball in hand.

Can you explain this a bit more please? I've never heard of this before, but it sounds like loads of fun... can you explain this game a bit more?

Also, if it's traditional bank pool with a full rack then you'd have to make 8 balls in a row, or the ghost would win the rack.

8 balls on in a row on a 9ft Diamond isn't too tough either if you practice bank shots - I couldn't consistently run 8 balls in a row (but have done this before), but I can almost guarantee I'd run 8-15 balls within 3-4 innings. I LOVE BANK SHOTS ;)

Anyway, please explain the game a bit more.

im trying to come up with a banks ghost game but dont know the line....break 15 balls wide open take ball in hand first shot after the break what would be the line on balls ran in a single inning ?4-5-6?idk im askin...

BIH is huge in that spot, IMO. I would say 4-1/2 would be the line. Loose table maybe a ball more.

I would say you take BIH at the start and after missing you take BIH again and if you run eight balls with the two BIH's you win or else the ghost wins.

I would think a top bank player would win more than they would lose so they would be able to beat the ghost.

There could be a bonus where you get two games if you run eight balls with only one BIH.

I don't know how it would go in full-rack or on a typical Diamond, but back when he was playing his best Tony Fargo used to welcome anyone to come back the short-rack ghost at The Rack in Memphis.

No one tried that I know of. Tommy D.

When you save up a couple thousand, please let me know and I'll be happy to watch you lose it when you try to back this up.

I agree with this line or something close to it. Lots of balls in the way in full rack so anything more would be very difficult.

That was my thought too, that without bih, there'd be a lotta 0s.

And why full rack anyway? I'd go with 9or 10 and set the # a balll or ball.5 higher

For the record - I practice on a 9ft Diamond with triple shimmed pockets...

Why is it that hard to believe? -_-

You're probably going to get rich off Az then. If you think you can beat the ghost playing full rack banks on a TRIPLE shimmed Diamond.

I would doubt you could break a full rack and make 8 in a row with ball in hand on every shot.

And not just you, Personally. Damn near anybody. That shizzzz is tough.

Why? Bank shots aren't that hard in reality. Like it toys with my head a bit.

I mean, I practice them all the time and will for hours rack a full set of balls and bank every shot in (and it usually takes 3-4 innings).

Ohh welll.... to the pool hall with a camera and tripod I guess...
