i have been on this forum for a little over a year, i came here to learn more about table construction, maintainence and about cue making. i will say that Glenn's serious posts are very informative, some of his old posts when OTLB and he would go at it were very fun to watch develop, wish he would come back and stir the pot again.
i have never seen Glenn's work in person, but from the pictures i have seen he does excellent work. Very few people these days would be as dedicated as he to learning multiple trades and crafts required to either build, design, set up, or repair something as complex as a billiards table, i know i spent years building furniture and cabinets. Glenn has taken above average skills as a woodworker, meticulous attention to detail of a machinist, skills with cloth that are beyond reproach, the years of learning the multitude of angles and shelf depths etc to make a table play right. my hat is off to him, my only complaint is that i would like to know some of the angles he uses when rebuilding rails and a few of his secrets to getting the cloth right but i guess some secrets are sacred and when the time comes to rebuild my table my only hope is that he would consider sharing some of his wealth of knowledge with an outsider.
keep up this excellent work Glenn! :clapping:

I like his pictures and details about his restorations of old pool tables.
Takes on the challenges and makes it happen !
