i would like to thank greg and paul from diamond.
i called greg last week to see if he would give me a break on a table.
he did better than that he gave me a table he loves the action.
in less than a week paul came and set it up the table plays perfect.
thanks greg not just for the table but for the great tables you make.
i have always thought diamonds are the best table.
thanks greg.

Cool!!! whats the number I call to say "could you give me a break on a table"? and end up getting a free one? I'm a little short in the table dept.

or would I have to have a history of stepping up and playing most anyone and everyone for large dollar sets because I love action and pushing myself to get better and better by choosing games sometimes I might not have the best of, but for them to win, their going to have to break me, cuz I'm coming at them with the "HEART" and "ABILITY"

hmmmm.. I"m a mere mortal with questionable ability and no hope for much improvement, so I guess I won't even make the call.

Holy crap. Hey Greg and Paul... I'm expecting a baby and just bought our crib and changing table. I think a cherry Diamond would compliment it perfectly.

Seriously, that is awesome. I always look forward to seeing the Diamond guys at Derby or the Expo. They have always been very nice, and obviously gracious. They do so much for pool and us, the pool players.

THANK YOU, GREG, PAUL, AND DIAMOND!

Diamond isn't passing out pool tables left and right of course but they have been known to help serious pool players once in awhile. No question that you are a most serious pool player! Have fun with your new table. Of course knowing that you have a Diamond at home does move the spot a ball or two . . . . :D :D :D

It seems when I get ready to Preview Post it say's I'm not logged in and I loose my work..Since I type so slowy I'm worn out...I guess I'll have to right click, copy and paste to save my work...It won't happen again!!!! I'll try my luck with this post perhaps tomorrow..enough tonight...Greg.... I wanted to explain I haven't went completely crazy yet and I'm not actually giving tables away.

Posting a post to say you weren't posting a post leads me to post a post wondering if you aren't going at least a little crazy post dealing tables with CB!

There is no doubt about moving the spot. After a year with my Diamond my buddies cannot deal with me, and I ain't even trying.;)

Congrats on getting the table Chris. Hopefully this will allow you to get more time at the table and improve your already amazing skills. <<< yes I'm sucking up for some free table time.

Eugh....now if I could just get Diamond to give me a table for my new Venom Trickshot movie, I'd be set. Sadly they won't answer their emails. :(

Anyway, congrats on the new table Chris.

ok greg did not bump his head.
this table is mine to play and practice on when you see me at a tourney i will have a diamond shirt or patch on.
greg does not want to pay players to say good things about his tables.
if i ever get a sponser by a pool table company then he will get this table back no hard feelings.
i have always thought diamond tables are the best.

Greg,

This has happened to me also. If you just log back in on that screen it should re-populate the typed message.

Just a thought...

Not the right way of doing things. Have you actually grabbed the phone and tried to call Diamond and somebody on their Marketing dept? Have you exposed the benefits why the heck they should give you a table? Like a written proposal?
You can't expect to send out an email and give me a 9' Diamond table

I am sure his query was infomative and respectful...

Thank you. You're the only person who gave me the benefit of the doubt on this one. My post was more of a joke than anything (as people were making up jokes about why they should also get free tables), but clearly someone took it too seriously (possibly because I put a sad face at the end by accident, rather than the intended smiley tongue one).

In either case, I have however provided proper written requests for such things (sponsorship for my new movie) and already have another table manufacturer who has offered to supply me with a table. I was hoping that Diamond would do the same, but I can't have everything I guess. :)

Sounds legit.

And yes, my query is 'legit'. Requesting product rather than money is a common practice. It allows the company to provide high value sponsorship while keeping their costs down. It costs them a fraction of the value to supply a table, while it's worth it's full retail value to me. I then chalk my video full of promotions for them, and both parties are happy. It's a cost effective way of doing business.

Thanks for your skepticism though. Very kind of you.
