I'd like to thank a few other table mechanic's....

Make a new banner with brail also in it so they legally mount it lower and you might get more calls when they feel how good your work is.

lol,
Craig

Brought forward so other mechanic's might post some pictures of their work...so that others might learn from them as to what good work really looks like:grin:

Thanks for the kind words Craig. I don't have alot of time to acquire too many pool hall accounts. But there is one that I have in my sights, HT.

These have been posted before, but I believe they show a pretty good example of a rail rebuild on an old Diamond crapper. Hahahaha They may be beat up, but play great now!

...and a couple more.
This is a GC2. All the pockets had different number of facings and different angles. These rails were rebuilt, corrected subrail angle, and nose height, all subrails extended, and all have matching pockets. (What a novel idea)

Skip & Jan's buddy:grin: Arizona is very lucky to have you, at 25 years old...you have a major future ahead of you as one of the country's top table mechanic's. As you work on more and more tables, and different kinds of tables Zach...you'll continue to get better and better...but, you're off to one hell of a great start...just never forget how important the customer is...and how important it is to ALWAYS try to do your best.

That's some nice looking extentions you put on them GC rails Travis, including the Diamond K55 black cushions. Since this is a hobby of yours, do me a favor will you...use your Makita belt sander to sand flush the tops of the cushions with the sub-rail liner so that there isn't a line that shows through the rail cloth right at that point where the two meet...that's just a hint buddy, good looking work...nice staple pattern too.

Wow, Craig, the Reno set up was an amazing job considering the time frame you were given plus the screw ups that were beyond your control. Murphy was definitely helping you out that trip.

That would have caused the average person to have a nervous break down.
I would have flipped as soon as I saw the elevators were not working.

Come on guys, I know there's more of you table mechanics with pictures of your work that you can show, I'm waiting:grin:

Here's are some pre work photo's Gold Crown 3 Loose inserts and a guy with a itchy staple finger Basic Extend rails 4" pockets and new rubber and the usual works a tweak a fix here.
Will add more over the next few days as things getting fitted and shaped.

Experience

I agree with Glen's(Cobra)earlier post a picture is worth a hundred words if someone does not know you or your work. I'm a Mechanics that works in a somewhat local area that gets repeat buisness and testimonials of satisfaction that keeps me as busy as I care to be. I have been doing this when your mouth, loaded with tacks, and a magnetic tack hammer were your tools for covering a table. I'm soon to be 84 and worked in a pool hall racking balls and maintaining the tables. I was 12 years old.
I had the privilage of working on an install with Glen about a year ago and picked up some valuable tips from him and now enjoy his friendship. When it comes to "Pool Table Moxy" Glen(King Cobra) without a doubt is "ON THE TOP OF THE HEAP". If you need a job done by a real expert,He's your man.
