I lost 117 pounds. It really helped my pool game with her gone but the alimony stunk!

I would have Earl Strickland, Shannon Daulton, Nick Varner or Fong Pang Chao move in next door! And I would invite them to come on over and practice with me any time they want. We could hang out and watch my Accu-Stats collection. They could peek at my pool lists and we could...wait a minute....."What?"

"Ok honey, I'm logging out now!"

Gotta go!

Not Really

your stroke works just fine, its not a traditional looking stroke but like Mike Davis you make it work real good. i agree playing more often is great when there is time, its nice to be able to play.

Thanks, but it could be better.

Most of the tournaments I play in are in Asia. The Asian players usually have much better fundamentals than we do.

A couple of months ago at a tournament in Bangkok one of the top players asked me if he could ask a personal question. I said "no problem", so he asked if I knew how bad my stroke was. He then showed me his cell phone, and a video he took of me when I wasn't looking.

The video was pretty disturbing. I dropped my elbow, twisted my wrist, and steered the cue. But I made the shot and got shape.

I have no doubt that I could improve by game by working on my stroke, but I don't have time.

I did finish 2nd in the last Pechaur 9-Ball Tour event this weekend, so I'm not playing bad enough to have the motivation to work on it.

Yea, I know

Ever do any self analysis trying to figure out what one thing would improve your Pool Game maybe 200% or more.

I know my main weakness, but am still trying to figure out how to get over this hurdle!

I need to hit the lottery, and get into action for about a month or 2 with some good players.

frozen OJ

Stand still in the frozen food dept at the OJ ......says its made from
concentrate ....... Seriously though I think being in business for
myself I have trained my mind to think about 50 things at once.I am
in the process of retraining my head to think about one thing and stay
in the moment .This and alot more practice, match up,practice, match up

I would quit. That way I will never miss another shot of lose another game. The problem is I wouldn't enjoy it as much and I would then have to start doing something else that is totally useless and has no bearing on the price of tea in China. :boring:

I need to learn how to sit in the chair...

The ability to fade the

"How the hell did he miss that?"

Miss

the ability to immediately regroup and get back to the form I was showing before the miss as soon as I get the chance..

Great response :D

If I had to pick 1 thing it would be better position play

Unfortunately there are too many things that I could change to make me a better player!! I will have to go with consistency though. That's one of the main principles in the game that keeps good amateurs at that level, and not quite at the pro level!!

Another one I have noticed lately is LAZYNESS. Taking that simple shot for granted. You know you can easily make it and get position, but then you get lazy and just assume that it's going to happen. That's when you find yourself out of position and trying to scramble back into it.
