This guy is a dirtbag, a waste of air, and certainly not the second-coming of Christ or a top pool player.

Where's my ignore button?

P.S. - I didn't even watch the video. My opinion stems from my single encounter with him.

Jason,

After watching the video and hearing your comments, I feel compelled to share with you secret not only about pool, but about life. It's not like you asked, but I have an hour to kill - so maybe if you don't read this, someone else will and they'll get something out of it.

We all make decisions. We make decisions in the words we choose, the friends we choose, and those decisions create our situations - past and present.

Playing pool for a living is not an easy life. As you progress in the game - or for that matter anything in life - your standard of living - or your level of overall success should increase. If it is not doing that, then you have to stop, re-evaluate and make changes in your strategy. If you're not where you want to be in your life or your chosen career field, all you need to do is go look in the mirror and you'll see why.

It's nobody else's fault. You made the decisions that got you where you are at. You made the decisions that created your reality. Nobody else.

I believe that most people get lost in life due to being frustrated with things that they cannot control.

As a player, I cannot control the tournament director, the way he does the draw - or anything else. I cannot control other players. I cannot control other people. I cannot control anything except me, my thoughts, my perceptions, my words, and my actions.

Everything else is uncontrollable. I'll frustrate myself into oblivion if I try to change anything else besides myself.

If I find myself in a volatile relationship with anyone in the world of pool, then I need to look at my part in it, the choices I made, the words I chose, and who I shared those words with and why.

It's not always the other person, and more times than not - realizing that I need to change is best lesson learned from those situations.

During your "interview", I heard a lot about what was wrong with pool, and personality conflicts that you have had with others in regards to your skill level. As you progress in this game, you will be pushed towards where you belong in regards to tournament competition. It sucks, but that's just how it is. You either rise to the occasion and meet those challenges and persevere, or you play the blame game and become a miserable, bitter, unhappy person that finds comfort in playing the victim.

It comes down to choices.

You have a lot of talent, but you have to ask yourself... what do you have to show for it? If there is a gap between what you have and what you want, then you need to get to work and shorten that gap.

It's one thing to be able to run the table, but you also have to be able to run your life. All those roadblocks and hurdles are there to make you stronger. You have to break through those walls and jump over those hurdles - again and again and again. Allowing others to take advantage of your reactions and outbursts and personality traits displays weakness - it's there, whether or not you want to acknowledge it. It doesn't matter how good you are, how good you shoot, or where you finished in the DCC banks Division... if you are consistently being your own worst enemy, you're not going to get very far.

A long time ago I was taught that it was better to be respected for who I was away from the table than to be respected for my accomplishments at the table. Both factor into the equation, but one is worthless without the other. You have to be willing to do whatever it takes to better yourself personally and professionally, while at the same time putting the game (and all of those involved in the game) before your own needs. That includes blaming, personality conflicts, etc, etc.

You'll find that when you've put all of the pieces of the puzzle together - make the amends to the people that you owe them to - and then proceed in a positive direction with your head held high, that the pool world becomes a better place to live in - and the best part is that you'll become a target for good intentions.

Who doesn't want that?

Hopefully you'll take this message as a gesture of support - not as a criticism. Most of what I just told you is what I need to remind myself every day of my life.

Blackjack

PS: Sherodaka and Mike are good people, you're in good hands and extremely blessed to have them as friends.

I've meet this thing in my local room before. It trys to play pool and attempts to act somewhat like a human, but falls short. All it had to do was keep it's mouth shut and let the pool cue do the talking. Btw, he robbed a guy in new york after losing a game. If the dude that got robbed wants to post about it, I'll let him give details.

Also, it looks like, Jason (it) took down his (it's) YouTube video where he says, ' I'm the best pool player to ever be borned'. Yes, he said 'borned' not born. Hahahaha

Oh, and uh, Jason, change your user name to 'idiot' or 'homo erectus'. Don't embarass a town that has real pool talent.

HAHAHA

Solutions:
Money problems? Get a job, you bum!

Girl problems? Lose the arrogance. Lose the attitude. Show others some respect. Shut the hell up. Oh, and get a job, you bum!

Getting kicked out of tournaments and poolrooms? Quit being a retard!

Jason Hunt spent a couple of months in San Antonio and I had the pleasure of dealing with him about a dozen times before he was kicked out of the better pool rooms.

THE JOB THE GUY NEEDS IS WITH THE ENQUIRER MAGAZINE, After listening to his side of the story and then getting the other side of the story from a number of people, JASON would be perfect at the crazy stories you read in the ENQUIRER.

When the guy is sober, he plays very well and is an ok person, but after a few drinks he can be a total jerk. Hassles people to play, walks away from bets, bums drinks and cigs. I will admit, he added alot of excitement to the pool room. I had mixed emotions whenever I saw him in the room, is he drunk and obnoxious today and can we have a decent funny conversation?

Why does he get kicked out of pool rooms. I have to admit I heard one story that tends to make me believe that sometimes he is right. I heard that one pool room owner told Jason. "I have nothing against you but I hear that there are so many people mad at you, that want to kick your butt or kill you that I don't think it is a good idea for you to be in here. It would look bad for my room if somebody got killed here".

Jason, I wish you the best but the way you presented yourself in that video is not the way to come across as what pool needs and its problems.

Bad news

Let me start by saying that it's not good practice to burn your bridges along the way. This kid came thru hardtimes in sacramento ,california. He was hanging around the room for awhile, getting in a few a games here and there, winning a few.Isaw this kid had a little talent.well he was down and out one day so i decided to try and take him around and make a few bucks, and make my self a some money. So were out one night at this bar and were playing pool and having a few cocktails.i'm standing at the bar with a few people talking and what does this kid do,he grabs a hundred from my stack and runs out the door.I couldn't beleive it.anyway to make a long story short i was going to find this guy for ripping me off.So a few days go by and i start to put the word out to keep your eye out for this guy i want him.So i'm getting calls from all over sacramento that this guy is at this strip joint, this bar,he's moving around. So me and my buddy decide to go out looking this guy .We find him in this bar drunk he don't see us.let me just stop here and say they had to carry him out and throw him in a cab.And he's never been back to sacramento, california since.PEACE OUT

bad news

One more thing,i don't know you tvmike but here a warning be careful who you trust and bring into your home, cuz this world is full of crazy people.just my my encounter and what i've seen on here this guy is no good.

He talks about how pool needs bigger sponsors. Meanwhile he is sitting there with no shirt on, getting his hair braided, and drinking a Heineken. Im sure after watching that video all the major sponsors are going to say, we need to put our money behind a guy like that. This guy is part of the problem with whats wrong with pool, not the solution.

I could not watch it for long.........some of you that know me know that I've had a "twitch" in my neck.....when I get real tired, or really stressed out It'll act up. I can kinda try and mentally woo saa and it helps.....kinda weird I'll do that old man thing when i get on a table and get down to shoot it stops lol.

I had to stop watching this garbage because i thought my neck was fixing to break lmfao.

There's nothing wrong with pool, theres something wrong with some of the people on the inside sure even some of the players.......but just listening to 2 min of this guys lips flappin while he drinks a green bottle of liquid hero stresses me out and makes all the good stuff and hard work that others do look less shiny because of it.

At least if your going to put yourself out there like that don't look the fool. If you dress like a stripper and act like one, don't be upset when I treat you like one. Dress like a fool, talk like a fool, act like a fool............

I cannot make this stuff up!!!

He is his biggest fan

He is amazing...just ask him

I didn't waste my time watching the video, because I had read some of his posts at the above two links and was floored, angry, and shocked!

Read for yourself people.

tvmike - listen to what "thebaby" says. I've heard only bad things from everyone that has tried to help him even a smidgen.

Also, he goes after people by spewing things about them on FB and his blog. Be forewarned folks - posting in this thread might get you on the receiving end of one of his rants. It's not pretty. And now I am a target just for posting here... omg I'm being stupid.

All I know is that is your best avatar yet Trig!!

I could not agree more, makes me think of a certain song. :)

And Lenny, that is your best avatar, yet! Funny!

For those reading this in the future, Lenny changes avatars more than some pool players change their drawers. So, today's Fast Lenny avatar features a fat-cigar smoking Charlie Sheen with the caption "This Is Me Winning!.

Thanks for the laugh.

Best,
Brian kc
P.S. Trig, your new avatar, while definitely heading in a great direction, could be improved upon even more if you put your mind to it.:grin::wink:

I have minimal first hand experience with this character and am very good friends with one of the guys he mentions by name in his blog. This video is almost too ludicrous to watch with a straight face. The entire thing is complete rubbish. I met him via the aforementioned friend for the first time at this past year's Texas Open and he was out in the parking lot filming a Cheech and Chong movie in some old van--it was disgusting. And now he's bloviating his crooked-minded opinion for all the pool world to see. I agree with what someone said earlier--he is not the solution; he is the problem.

Haha, I just read some of his blog. Now that is epic. How can you talk about your high intelligence when you can't spell intelligence?!!! LOL
