I understand it is just I think everyone is a skeptic. People are reading short quips on the internet by someone that never claimed to be a good writer. I am looking for someone that wants to make a real good video for pool. I can build it and they will watch it. I just do not have the cash to get everything I need in order. I thought before I die you all billiard enthusiests would like to see my omage to cue sports. If not then fine I was wrong. I thought with everything I have learned about this game then we would all like to see it. I am offering to invest five years to a video we will all get to watch. Why am I getting grief?

Do you want to invest???

That is what the crowd wanted to see. I gave them books and they picked the shots...That is how far I took it.


The two you picked are my originals there are a couple more of my own creations on that video, can you find them?

By the time I save it I'll be to old to make the video... And where are you getting the $2000 dollar mark at...
from me telling that guy how much it would cost for the first two months?

No grief for you here but if you wanted to build a building yourself in your backyard, you can do it cheap by acquiring building materials from your local "Green Project"/recycling center or get on one of the local yahoo groups where people who have left over material GIVE it away to anyone who will come and haul it off. If you find some high quality pool chairs and don't have room for them in the building, give me a shout. :smile:

I dont understand all this "before I die" stuff. You look to be in your 20s in that video. That is you with the rock star locks right?
 
Building anything yourself is cheap. It's the labor that will hurt you. I know a guy that built a stock racing care for 800 dollars and has won 6 feature races so far this year.:eek: He did ALL the work himself. I could see a building like that only costing 2000. I enclosed my garage with air for 600 dollars. If I would have done the ac work myself it would have only cost about 300.

Hey thanks Jamison. I was screwing around one day trying something and discovered that three ball combination shot. I don't know if I invented it but, I didn't intentionally copy it from anyone.

Perhaps you could find a pool hall with a billiards table or whatever else you may need to do your filming. In exchange for some advertising in the video. I don't see why you need a building to do something like this. You could probably pick up others advertisers aswell...
 
For what it's worth, when talking to potential investors, do you have a business plan that details everything you are looking for? Does it explain how you plan to market your DVD? Does it explain how you plan on paying back the investor(s)? Does your business plan explain the "what ifs" of what can happen if something don't turn out as planed? Do you have a lawyer to take care of the investor and yourself as well....legaly? Just something to think about...IMO!:grin: I hate saying that....LOL

I need a building because of my idea, it involves a special studio. Once someone shows some interest it will be made much more clearly. It is a winner, I have been thinking of what to do with my useless talent for three years now. I have a great idea, it will take a long time to complete the video.

I am not asking for any money that will not be directly accounted for. The person can oversee any aspect of the project. I am not the Jim Baker of this game. You can trust in the fact that I want to make the video.
