Is it really necessary???

All that I can really add is that I'm a fairly new member. I have been around forums a long time, but around this one for a relatively brief period.

I just got back into pool a couple of months ago and found this site when I was looking for a table mechanic. I have purchased a set of balls and a couple of cues on here thus far. The only method I was able to use to buy a cue was to go into the FS section and post a WTB ad.

Why was this necessary? Because the FS section is disaster. It's a hodge-podged mess of a place. I agree with locking down all threads in the FS section. We don't need useless bumping of threads to get them back to the top. I would even prefer to see a Craigslist type of system where you list it, it stays listed for 7 days and if after 7 days you'd like to relist you can go right ahead.

I would hope that it could be more tightly policed than CL and people really could only list there stuff once every 7 days instead of incessantly, but nontheless, I think that system works better.

I actually wish there was a dealers section and a non-dealers section. As much as everyone wants to jump all over the acedonkey-whatever guy, I see the same damn shit from the same damn people every single day. Cummatively, all of you flood this section in exactly the same fashion. It's always the same 6-8 guys posting all day long, every day, and bumping their threads.

If you see it and know its the same person or stuff, then just go past it.
I don't think its that big of a deal.

It's Really A Simple Matter

Anytime you see someone on the forum with excessive postings or is abusing the listing service, simply report the offender. Regardless of the circumstances or reasons for anyone not complying with the Forum guidelines which are posted in with explicit clarity, just report the forum member.

We don't write the rules and all of us have to abide by them....and anyone trying trying to figure out a loophole or discover wiggle room in the Forum's policies etc. is working against the overall attempt to clean up the forum. You see anyone doing that, you should report the person and as forum members, we need to do our individual, and collective, best to ensure that persons ignoring the Forum's rules are reported and ultimately constrained/refrained or whatever from continuing their practice.

It's really simple....the forum has gradually become a flea market environment and the multitude of postings, unnecessary repetitive bumps, etc . has gotten out of hand. NUF SED!

p.s. And stop being such cheapskates and become paid members. Either put you money where your mouth is or just shut up. You have zero investment in the Forum so that's how much your opinion is worth....DOUBLE NUF SED!

I would assume 90%+ are not (AZ CLUB MEMBERS ) on here, your post states and I qoute:

( p.s. And stop being such cheapskates and become paid members. Either put you money where your mouth is or just shut up. You have zero investment in the Forum so that's how much your opinion is worth....DOUBLE NUF SED! )

Your opinion is the majority of this forum needs to shut up and not say anything on this website because we have nothing invested.......if the non Cub members didn't use this forum , whick rocks if I might add, this would be a very empty site.........And any Az member with out being a Club member is a nobody by your standards , your so wrong........Okayletsplay

Ace shows no respect for other forum members who also
have items for sale ! I have red repped him twice now .
I think a red rep party is in order !!!

Yeah this guy has no respect. I have to spread rep around first. Let me give you a greenie maybe that will free me up.
