A common comment from posters who ask us to believe in 'emotional evidence' is to belittle Mosconi's true record - they will say Mosconi's 526 was not filmed, so he did not have video proof - either. This is a poor argument, if I were alive back in 50's and read in paper that I could see Mosconi's 15 person signed affidavit at the Smithsonian - I would have - and may still. Now let us say I went to Smithsonian Institute and they did not have any such document, as I enquired further - the Smithsonian stated that was only Open for the 'semi public to view'. I would then have my reservation bout the legitimacy of the claim I read in the paper. For any and all Honest readers out there - not to worry The Smithsonian Institute has Mosconi's Legit 526 on display now for almost 70 yrs. They never had to hide the Evidence they had - from the People, nor did Brunswick claim to have evidence - they did not have - as the bca,c.w., and j.s. has unfortunately done. I guess mo simple back then, no digital sharing info campaigns - trying to socially engineer Professional pool Champions - better days. j.s's high run in 14.1 on (9 ft table heated slate='s 434) - not the media lie of 626.

I think you make some good points.
Having a life outside of pool isn't an excuse, it's a REASON, big difference. There's also the whole, "I took a year off because I had stage IV CANCER and could barely move my right arm/shoulder. I still have extreme nerve damage in my neck and shoulder but do the best I can with it. If being a world class jackass such as yourself is the example of a "world class pool player"? I'll pass.
