This just in - I heard it through the grapevine:

As we all know, Jay Helfert has been working for a long time now on his book about pool, covering happeings in the poolworld since he was born (1820 something) and till today.

Latest news is that Jay Helfert's very, very good friend Kevin Truedau will be promoting the book on the IPT website, and it will be available for sale for only $99.45, if you are registered as Premium Member on the IPT-site. (The IPT will announce a coming announcement about this very soon, but sign up as soon as possible. The 50 first members from now will get 0,1% discount)

The title of the book has been changed by Kevin Trudeau, and goes:

"Stories the poolworld doesn't want you to know about" - with a picture of Kevin Trudeau smiling when holding a white cuetec-cue.

I can't wait to read it!

I have seen so many posts about Jay's book now, so thought it could be great to force Jay to finally say something about it :)

Roy, we all have to be patient. It is my understanding that Jay has turned the first draft over to his good friend Fatboy for editing.

We are sorry to report this latest news... Mr. Jay Helfert was run over by a bus on his way to deliver his "long awaited" manuscript to his publisher.
Mr. Helfert promised this book, to the pool community, for years, but NEVER delivered.. His last words were said to be....FU,KT...FU, John McCain...FU George Bush,
and FU dipsh*t AZer's, who wanted to buy my book. Helfert was ninety four.

P.S. As he lay dying, Mr. Helfert did express his regret, for voting for Obama, in the 2008 elections.
He simply said..... " I f##ked up." Thank God, Mc Cain won.

Yes, you'll have to be more patient.

Jay's busy working on his book about Shanelle Loraine, which will include glossy pictorial spreads and lurid tales of Shanelle's adventures both on and off the pool table. :)

Off-topic, but as much as Kid Delicious is known for playing absurdly slow sometimes, I've seen him play on a shot clock and he played extremely well even at very fast speeds. I don't hear much about him lately though.

Jay, do you intend to make it kind of an semi-expose'? Youre not going to get into the sex habits and preferences of the old road players are you? If so, dont forget to mention that most of the guys used to make the really young ones show I.D.
