JoeyA puts THE BITE ON Clliff Joyner

I had a great time at the Casper's Billiards tournament in spite of the small turnout for what was supposed to be a great turnout for a weekend tournament. I played in some mini-tournaments prior to the tournament and cashed in a couple of them.

While attempting to pay my entry into one of the mini-tournaments, I came up short on the cash in my pockets. My hyper-speed synapses moved into over-drive as I spotted Cliff Joyner attempting to hand in his entry fee into the tournament. I immediately put the bite on Cliff and asked him to pay the remainder of my entry fee. He must have been caught so off guard tht he complied, mumbling something unintelligible and handed the tournament director the additional money and I was home free. JoeyA puts the bite on the Master Biter. :woot::woot::dance::dance:

I'll be wearing this bite like a badge of courage and if you see Cliff, just tell him "not to ask".

Cliff never asked for me to return the dough and I didn't and because it's been more than 24 hours, it is no longer a factor. I think because I scared Cliff so badly in the one pocket mini, he was just thankful for me cutting him some slack that he just plain forgot about THE BITE!

joey the bitemeister! Lol good job

JOEY, you're my hero!
You will go in the Guinness Book of Records as the first man to successfully bite Cliff Joyner!

You bamboozled him for sure!

Well done Joey! Bravo!!

The timing of your quick approach must have scrambled Cliff's noggin enough that he went on a subliminal inverted auto pilot of what he's used to seeing when HIS hand was out!

This ranks right up there with the "Chuck Norris being able to un-pop popcorn" etc, sayings!
Wow!
Usually, when something this outrageous is claimed, I would typically post something like "Pictures or video or it didn't happen!" But I know you to be a man of great honor and integrity (that sounds funny in a BITE thread!), but knowing you as I do, I totally believe you did it!

You may be the only person, living or otherwise, to have been able to have successfully pulled this off! This makes the Brinks robbery look like a peel out from a McDonald's drive thru!

Just goes to show that every year, mankind is tearing down more and more previous and hitherto unknown barriers and impossibilities!
The 4:00 mile, "Man on the Moon", the splitting of an atom, and now, Cliff GIVING it away!

What can be left???

Simply amazing!

Ill tell you what Joey,an all honesty you played a great set of 1pocket in that mini finals, you looked home free until that one bad shot, cliff run like 7or8 balls ,your shooting and moving skills looked pretty dam sharp to me!

Joey A i need an exact amount of the bite...this will determine if it is a true bite or if you were just nibbling.

The Art of the Bite.

I may be coming out with a DVD on THE ART OF THE BITE in case anyone wants to get in on the ground floor. PM me and I will send you my paypal account for investment opportunities.

This has the markings of something really big. I've been watching and learning all these years and believe me, I watch really closely. I don't believe in giving away another man's secrets but what I've learned about THE BITE, needs marketing.

For THE ART OF THE BITE video I will be needing GOOD graphic artists, writers, shills, willing to donate their time and skills and especially wealthy investors. Only serious inquiries via PMs please. This needs to be kept undercovers until it is completed.

In order to transfer the money to your investment fund I have set up a bank account but in order for the account to be active you must deposit 500 dollars. After you have deposited the money I will be able to put in any amount you need. I will pm you the account number so you can make a secure deposit.

Could you front me a couple copies?
My money's tied up right now.
WTF...I'M GOOD FOR IT...
My credit MUST be good cause I owe EVERYBODY

I dunno...has anybody checked this out on snopes????

When JoeyA puts out a report, you take it to the bank!

I did notice that the Obama haters are trying to tie the TRAITOR Jane Fonda to Obama but that's not true. Obama isn't trying to make her WOMAN OF THE CENTURY.

Speaking of snopes. Even snopes reports that many of the dastardly, TRAITEROUS things she is accused of are true. The men who were POWs of the North Vietnamese don't have much good to say about her either. Jane said she will go to her grave regretting the photo opportunity she took getting behind one of the NVA's anti-aircraft guns making out like she was shooting down American planes.

OK, back to the real news. I will try for a second bite the next time I see Cliff. I think I have something here. It is almost instinctive now and I swear a video could make a lot of money.

Marcus, you are a bad boy. Taking clues from Nigeria, are you?

You should have then quickly borrowed $20 off of someone else (behind Cliffs back) and then bought a pop or something right in front of him...... He'd crap himself that someone double dipped him with his own move!

sadly Cliff and I broke even on the bite IMOP.......we were the first ones to show up at the tournament on thursday......and about the last to leave as well.

Friday night and a little bad weather and Cliff set the bait and offered me the extra bed for a ride in the mourning.

winner round one to the grey ghost.......

then he asked for a ride back to lafayette half way home for him.....not out of my way so I gladly obliged........Cliff whipped the gas money, but with me doing the driving so late I'd say cliff got back even with me lol.......

broke even...lol,

I'll tell you this Joey had a huge grin on his face the whole time I saw him there.......as well did I.

We spoke and he mentioned that it was the highest level of competition and player ability in the highest concentration in a small event he has ever seen.

I would agree with my other two being Gradys gulf coast classic one pocket event in 2004 and Gabes event last years super bowl sunday.

I will expound on the events of the tournament and give much details of the 4 days i was up there as soon as I get a little time on here at the end of the week.

both joey and I played very well and did much damage to quite a few players :) i had two beautiful racks in a row 7&out/7&out vs Dennis Strickland;) and joey had some fine racks and moves as well at the event but sadly we were never pitted against each other as its always a pleasure to play him ever since the first time almost ten years ago now.

Congrats joey on a good outing my friend.
