John Henderson......health notice

Praying for John. He's a regular on the pool circuit, and those who know him always enjoy hearing his pool tales and being around him. He's one of a kind! I knew he had been sick for sometime. It's so sad to see our loved ones suffer. I hope he's not in pain and realizes how much we all love him.

Wish you well John.

Thanks for all the pool knowledge you've shared over the years.... and all the great stories.

John is a legendary player in California. He's played everybody of note for the last fifty years, myself included. And best of all, he remains friends with all those guys! We love you John!
Did he play at Johnston City?

No, he was living in California at the time. I lived within 500 miles (Dayton, Ohio) and went every year from 1963 to 1967, but never played in the event. I wasn't ready. I did play in the last Stardust tournament in 1972 and won a few matches, even beating the great Jimmy Fusco in One Pocket.

I beat a decent player once and we had to put him on suicide watch for a month.
I finally had to sign an affidavit that I had jarred him before the match, or he just did not want to go on. Get well soon John.
