John your known all over the world,Hann is a nobody hear and wont make a name for himself at all.We already have a bad boy in Earl Strickland and people love watching him because he can back it up when talks and has proven he is mastered.I dont think Hann can beat you even up in any american pocket billiards game,he knows this so is trying to get a free shot at winning some money because he knows you cant beat him at snooker.If your coming to the USA Hann to play then play the games we have here,if you want to gamble on snooker then you shouldnt have dumped and you would still be playing in your country,sad you ruined your career there.

wow guys i dont need name recognition or anyone to take me on the road or back me and i dont need to earn money playing pool, i only mixed and kept in touch with 5 or 6 ex players cause i never loved the billiard scene and still dont im happy with my life right now and don?t need anything from the pool world except maybe some excitement once in a while

news flash im sure lots of people wish i was destitue and homeless but im not, i am a millionare I wear a 30k watch and ring I earnt most of my money from real estate I bought my first house at 17 and subdivided my first property at 20 (although i did earn over a mil in snooker prize money) my house is worth over 2mil$us and i own others and am very busy working as a property developer. I don?t want to brag as it looks silly but im not a complete f-wit im doing good for a 30 year old, but maybe people don?t know this as I don?t speak with one person still currently in the game only some fringe players

IMO, the spotlight needs to be taken away from Quentin. He is not in the same category as Shane or John, in heart, ability or class. He's a banned match dumping snooker player that is bad for action. Once a promising player with limitless potential, he is now on the outside looking in (self inflicted) and I'm not sure why people such as you would be interested in seeing back in the fray. I could name scores of snooker players that would be a better match for John Schmidt to test his snooker abilities - however I would love to go a few rounds in a cage with Quentin just for $hits and giggles.

Dave honestly I am no big fan. Not a fan at all as a matter of fact. The thing is he jumped in a thread I posted a few months ago and a week or so of woofing went on.

If I had to choose an opponent for John it would be someone like mark selby, osullivan, hendry or perhaps steve davis. Hann just jumped in on that thread and some major noise got talked. I would just like to see him get dominated and John get a big pay day.

So lets set this straight, because I think I'm a little confused. A Euro player came out and bashed American Pool Players, and then wants them to step up and play his game?

If you are gonna bash someone, then you gotta step onto their turf. You don't step up then run to your hiding spot. You can't say man you suck at Pool, now play me in snooker. Or even split it. It doesn't prove a damn thing.

Do it in a game that doesn't require a 'monster' break. Seeing as thats the disadvantage. Straight Pool, race to 1000. Or 10000. Or Whatever.

And John's a stand up guy, kudos to him.

Understandable Joey cos from what I remember it is a little strange.......... but personally I wouldn't dare to criticise it as you ain't heard nothing til you hear the spooky growling accent of a dyed in the wool Scot who has lived and travelled throughout the Middle East for most of the last 30 years, especially when cursing a missed 8 ball in arabic
