Yeah, I gotta do it too. I've just been too lazy to fill out the forms.

Actually, that was super easy. Just pick how long you want to be a member and enter your Paypal password.

Think it is Paypal, or nothing for now. I also do not and will never use Paypal.

I will NOT put my credit card number out on the net, That includes paypal.
Tate, can I send you a $35 check, and you sign me up with your paypal account?

(edit) It seems that some here are being left out in the cold?

I'll try to find out what to do to sign up without paypal and get back to everybody.

I'd love to join the club, because I love AZB. and i'd like to support it as much as I can.. and yes I can afford it. but problem is that I live in Kuwait. and for me I can't get to register an account in paybal, I tried alot.. tried years ago, sometimes I try to order an online pool tournoment event. and sometimes I try to register paybal to pay for a cue or a shaft, or whatever! but I can't.

Paybal doesn't support middle-east countries. when you go throw the paying method, I just can't select Kuwait. therefore i couldn't get my account up for years.

if there is any possiblity of paying in any other way, "I usually use postal money check delivery" but this cost me shipping money too... but i'd do it. just PM me an adress..

but ordering using Paybal will not work for me :(

Add another one to the no pay pal list...

Perhaps I will just hand Mike some money next time I beat him at po...er I mean see him at the pool room.

As far as the credibility goes....I have none in the first place so I am not really worried about it...

besides...the guy that walks into a pool room with a $2k pool cue does not mean instant credibility......just means he has extra money to spend.;)

I'm incredulous to think that my credibility is accredited to whether or not I'm a member of the AZB club...

Good point...but I'm sure Chris means well here...

Chris, I respectfully disagree.

I'm not going to say it makes you any more credible than the next person at all, it just means you are wanting to do your piece to support the site.

I'm a member on several other boards that do not ask their population to donate $3/mo (or whatever it may be) to support their site. Every board I am on as quite a few sponsors which get their banners, special things, etc - that they can do.... and they come standard with more features! Personal email attached, hosting domains, streaming webspace, etc.

Sure, a couple of them have ways to ask the population for money, but I look at this as a business. Mike is running an operation and has to make sure that he can support this site on the income he can produce.... which should come from the sponsors.

I'm not going to pay for added PM space and a little gold banner....

-Ross
can afford it, but not going to donate...

FWIW, you are much more at risk for identity theft and fraud with a personal check than you are with using a credit or debit card. I prefer a debit card because first thing in the AM when I arrive at work I check my checking account balance online... it's simple and up to date. Every transaction from the previous day shows up the next morning. I'll challenge any transaction I don't recognize and I would do so immediately. Thus far, I have not had any to challenge since using my debit card for everything.

Everytime you write a personal check you circulate a piece of paper with your banking information on it... the checking account number and your bank's routing number. If any one check gets into the wrong person's hands... or they see one long enuf to write down the two numbers and your name, they have enuf information to steal your identity and start printing... and cashing... checks against your name and account.

FWIW, this happened to me... and it took more than a year before the situation was totally rectified. What a PITA!!

I stopped using personal checks. They're too risky imo... and they're expensive as well.

Again... FWIW.

Care to re-word that Tate?? I'm less credible because I can't afford it, (only working 2 sometimes 3 days a week right now being winter) but, yet, that's o.k.???????

Neil, I don't think Tate was saying anyone is less credible, and he prefaced it with "in my opinion,". Each of us is entitled to an opinion, no matter how good or bad they may be. Don't believe offense to anyone was meant in this post...... JMHO..........:)
