You voted for Trump, right?HIS actions got him to where he's at. Integrity and one's word should still carry weight. Seems like everywhere you turn these days people want to whine and play the victim. I got two words for JF: GROW UP.

The thing is I don't see anywhere where he is playing the victim. We, the peanut gallery, are making him a victim. He's going about his business, playing pool, and traveling with his wife. What does the sport owe him or anyone else?? Look folks, he's an adult that signed a contract/agreement with MR/WNT. He's obviously gone afoul of it and is paying the price. He's not a victim here. HIS actions got him to where he's at. Integrity and one's word should still carry weight. Yep, exactly. This is true of about every "news" article ever written on the internet, or a newspaper, or a TV news program. They are almost all universally garbage. Ambulance chasers and now click-baiters.
Not every one, but it is getting harder and harder to find anything approaching the truth.... every "news" article ever written on the internet, or a newspaper, or a TV news program. ...
They are all like that. I had a cousin die 15 years ago in a scuba diving accident. He had been diving for 20 years, and was trained in the military to dive. Sort of like we are for pool. The local TV news station in Philly, an ABC affiliate, reported "diver died during his first dive". It was his first dive "of the day". They made it seem like it was his first dive in his life. They all do shit like that to make the headline better.Pretty big blanket statement. Some are licensed and held to a higher standard. Others are considered entertainment, and simply pretend to be news. The weak minded can’t tell the difference.
Yes, I am aware. That doesn’t change the fact that actual news sources can suffer consequences from advancing false information, while the fake ones get a free pass. They are all like that. I am in the news business. "Shit" like that isn't done to make headlines better. It's almost always the case of younger reporters being ignorant. Or general assignment reporters lacking expertise in any one thing. They are all like that. I had a cousin die 15 years ago in a scuba diving accident. I've worked with a lot of young reporters. They get things wrong simply by being young. Most are increasingly cloistered, growing up in liberal urban enclaves, the product of upper-middle class or upper class parents.
My father was a Navy diver. We learned how to dive as youngsters. Most reporters have zero clue what diving entails. It's a foreign world to them.
The decline in media profitability, what's more, has robbed many news organizations of enough experienced editors to prevent these sorts of errors.
The truth is, as usual, more mundane.![]()
Still not clear what point Albin was trying to make.
Damn skippy. Not perfect but he has more integrity than creepy Joe or Kammie combined. Figured someone would veer off course and play the political card. Typical NPR shit. They can't defend their point so they go off on a tangent. I still can't figure why so many people are acting like this Filler tool is getting a raw deal. He brought this little shitstorm on himself. I couldn't care less if ever played another WNT event. You voted for Trump, right?
Yes, isn't it hilarious that serious fans of the pro game care whether they can expect to see the best possible fields at pool's major championships? Really, why would they care?Idk man I think all of this is hilarious. Has absolutely 0 effect on pool being played in every setting that isn't affiliated with MR or WPA which is 99% of all pool. I personally could not possibly care less who plays where. The fact that so many folks online feel so strongly about any of this is legitimately hilarious.
Do your own homework. There's a 'SEARCH' function on here that can wonders for the clueless. Try to keep up with the rest of the class. There will be a test later. Can someone explain what's going on like I'm five? What's the history? What's the WNT?
