This was the last year of the 14.1 high run challenge at Derby City. 285 was the record. Second that year was 260 by Dennis Orcullo.Nice. Thanks for Sharing. Very Impressive
Yes, it was an electrifying day at the DCC 14.1 Challenge. Chris Melling had already run a 244 and the general feeling was that this would hold for the high run prize. It sure didn't pan out that way, as, on the final day of qualifying, Orcullo beat Melling with a 260 and then Filler topped Orcullo with a 285.This was the last year of the 14.1 high run challenge at Derby City. 285 was the record. Orcullo's 260 was on the 4 1/4. Filler's was on a 4 1/2.Was this the challenge table that mistakingly had 4.25" pockets? Or am I thinking about another year?

It doesn't really fit in at DCC any more. Actually, DCC doesn't fit in the Horseshoe.Bob,
I really looked forward to the 14.1 event at the Derby. When the decision was made to end it, I was very disappointed. Do you know if there is a chance for the event to come back someday?

Naw. It's carbon fiber with painted wood pattern. Stealth LD.Fake video nobody can run that many balls with a maple shaft these days.
I knew it?Naw. It's carbon fiber with painted wood pattern. Stealth LD.
Seems more accurate to say that "nobody can make a cue with which Filler can't run 285."I knew it?
Nobody can run hundreds with out a carbon fiber shaft and $30 chalk these days.
My cue might be the exception. I can’t seem to make a ball with it and it couldn’t possibly be my fault.Seems more accurate to say that "nobody can make a cue with which Filler can't run 285."
Probably it's the table with pockets that are too large to make you focus. Are they 4.5" like for Filler? My cue might be the exception. I can’t seem to make a ball with it and it couldn’t possibly be my fault.
Or maybe it’s the table….
Yes! Must be the problem, if they were 4.25” I’d be off to the races. That and a new cue.Probably it's the table with pockets that are too large to make you focus. Are they 4.5" like for Filler?
