Ahh the FACTS were there :
I never had any past issues with this guy. Never cussed at him, never lied to him or threatened him in the thread Muecciplayer mentioned above.
I guess I must have learned to follow the rules much better because I am still here. Here are a few personal rules I follow:
1. Don't easily become offended.
2. If you don't like a post on here and have nothing to add: don't read it or comment on it: simply move on to something that is of interest.
3. Stop visiting the site if it gets to be negative.

I wanted to clarify the issues I had with your responses, so nobody thinks you are Mr. Innocent in all this. I am kinda pissed off at Mr. Wilson specifically for this ban, as I believe your behavior was completely inappropriate in the thread in question.
In summary, I am in Germany, I bought a used Gold Crown II, and had the rails changed to Artemis Intercontinental #66, and paid a nominal fee to the table installer to attempt a subrail extension, which neither the installer, nor 99% of other German installers had even HEARD of being possible. I made that clear in my posts, and that I was rolling the dice, hoping to get a playable table. The most common way of tightening pockets in Germany is to add more pocket facings, which makes the pockets play awful, and frustrating. I was looking for better playing pockets, even if they were not up to Mark Gregory's or Glen's standards.
I was in constant contact with Glen/realkingcobra, and he sent me pictures of his work to show to the installer, along with pocket angles/measurements. He responded to any questions I had, usually with minutes on Facebook Messenger.
Then, came the update thread. THE PURPOSE of which was to give the people in the mechanic's thread an update about one of the first subrail extwnsions attempted in Germany. I wanted to give the members some meat and potatoes to look at, with some updates on my thoughts through the process, and feedback on how I thought the table played.
You then proceeded to get into a pissing match with realkingcobra, and totally derail the entire thread. I told you in so many words that while the work was not perfect, and certainly not up to realkingcobra's standards, that it played much better than the average tightened German table, and I was not really looking for criticism of the work in that thread, and the thread was simply to share the process with my fellow forum members. Your bickering with realkingcobra is not an isolated event.
When I TOLD you your input/arguing was not appreciated in the thread, and that I was "happy enough" with the only options I had in Germany, and that all in all, I was not unhappy with the choice I made to roll the dice with a subrail extension, you then insinuated that in so many words, I was happy to accept shitty work, and that I must not be either that knowledgable a consumer, or that great a player, if I was willing to accept such piss poor work. I am paraphrasing here, but I do not really think I am too far off the mark.
So, there it is in a nutshell. Getting a table again here in Germany after being totally out of practice but still putting up a stiff fight against Scott Frost at DCC this year, was an important moment for me. I was trying to share that moment, as imperfect as it might be, with the mechanic's forum, and you just HAD to come in and piss in everyone's wheaties, just to stoke your own ego.
But the key to this is.... you're not a top mechanic. You're a guy who polishes up tables to look pretty, and if the customer really needs a top playing table as well, you sub out the work. And there is a place for that, I will not begrudge you that. BUT, in my opinion, you were totally out of line, when I asked you to keep things civil in a thread I started, and you keep an argument going with someone I trust eminently more than yourself, considering he actually took the time to try to help me get the best result possible, given my lack of choices of top mechanic talent in Germany.
And the fact that Mr. Wilson saw nothing wrong with your behavior makes me think that this forum is on it's last legs.
