This is a Maitland Smith table. This is one of the most beautiful tables I have had the pleasure of working on. This was a brand new table we set up over the last two days. Thanks to QBall for making the trip to Kansas to help with this project!!! Thanks to my friend Brian for helping with this also!!
The last picture is a catalog picture. My pictures are really dark. Not enough lighting in there to get better ones!!!

That is a BEAUTIFUL table!!!!!!! Wood is gorgeous. As is the overall design of the table. Congrats and be very proud of it. Thanks for sharing.

You'd think they would at least buy some decent lights, looks like they could afford em... Not sure I like the big screws on the corners much either.

But did you notice the screw heads line up with the rail?

Are they all like that? If so, that is real attention to details.

Beautiful table.

Yep I used to go yachting for many years and we had to line up every screw onboard if they were not already lined up. We used bedding compound to accomplish that. IMO, if they should have been counter sunk and flat headed screws flush with the surface. The devil is in the details as they say... Nontheless the wood is beautiful and I'm sure the setup is terrific!

Absolutely beautiful table (as already stated by others...)!

My first thought is that I would LOVE to have a table that looked like that...then my "logic" comes into play...and I start thinking that it would/will be a nightmare to dust! :o

Jason ;)

Beautiful table and sharp looking install! I really like the look of the brass pocket irons but the fact that they sit on top of the rails instead of being inset in them plus with even rounded head screws sticking out would make me keep a crappy cue around for any shots to be made over the pockets. I used to think that getting black wax on your cue from shooting on the pocket was annoying but this could actually cause trips to your local cue repair man.

Table Install

Doug...I don't know about you, but I had a great time installing this table..!! What a highlight for both of us...Thanks for the invite to help, it was alot of fun...!!!!

Thanks everyone for the kind words!!

Qball I did enjoy setting up this table. It was very challenging to say the least.

CHopdoc> Every screw is lined up the same way on the table. Not sure if they is what they had planned. But that is how we installed them all!

Quesports: I didnt care for the light fixture either. But look at the detail in it. Its all hand carved also! I am sure that this table will get very little play. And yes they can afford anything they want!! The owner of this table is very down to earth person. Very soft spoken and easy to work for! This is the 4th table I have done for them. Great great people!!

man i would love to play a few games on that table....what a beauty...cgs on a great job...

Nice work, Doug. That's a beauty.

I need to talk to you about doing some work on a couple tables. My Anniversary and my daughter's table.
