We lost Karl yesterday. He was a man devoted to the game and supported tournaments going back decades as an excellent official. I was fortunate to work alongside him at the U.S. Open.
A huge loss for Pool!

Few did it right, thx for letting it be known. Not someone I knew, but I knew many in my travels I didn't know, or met.
What part of the US was he in?

Can you please post a picture of Karl? I attended many years of the Open as a spectator. My condolences.

Sad news indeed. He contributed to the proper running of many tournaments.
Northeast for the most part.
Karl over the years gifted me many Photos, Great Guy . RIP My Friend !
back in 2017 I played Darren´s 8-ball tournaments and I met Karl in New York. He told me he is going to referee matches to DCC and that lead me to extend my visit in U.S and fulfill one of my dreams to play in DCC and meet Efren
So he took me with him and we shared motel. Great trip. Thanks Karl!
He was very nice guy. Rest in peace.
Ah that's so sad to hear. He was always present in the NJ pool room scene. Will be missed!
