Where is Keith? Jam, the DCC is coming up in Jan.and Jack Cooney will be inducted into the One Pocket Hall Of Fame, and do you know what that means?? Of coarse you do, and it also means that Mark Betor will also be there, and he loves Keith. I know that Mark will put him into the box playing me One Pocket and I would love to play him. I think I can set it up to be taped by Accu Stats with some great commentary. We probably can play about 1 hr. to 1 1/2 hrs. a day for 3 or 4 days. Now that will be a very attractive video to market. And if he beats me he'll have plenty of bullets to play poker online. Lets try to get this done so we can have some fun. Not much time left for me to play ( 65 yrs. old ) so get him off the couch and into the pool room to start practicing.:thumbup:

. . . Billy, I'd pay for that tape. It would be even better if you and Keith both sat down and did a palyer review after. It would be entertaining and educational at the same time.

this could be one of the most sold matches accustats ever put out...not to mention if we could get tar involved live streaming it too.

Word in Chicago says Keith doesn't have a prayer against you, at least that is what my sources tell me. :grin:

Chicago folks do love themselves some pool, that's for sure. Congratulations to Jack Cooney. :smile:

Unfortunately for us plebians, Billy, we cannot afford to go to the DCC for 10 days, which would be how long it would be for us when you consider travel and the week-long event. In these difficult economic times, it is essential that we make sure the household bills are paid each and every month. During an election year, D.C. comes to a standstill in my industry, until the new administration gets in, and I am grabbing every single job that I can sniff out to keep our collective heads above water. Keith's poker winnings come in handy too. :wink:

That said, I know that Keith would love to go to the DCC this year. He has attended pool events alone, without me, in the past, but for some reason, he seems to get carried away, especially in casinos, and he ends up looking exactly like a turtle who lost his shell. :help:

It would almost be like Jack Cooney coming to the DCC without Barbara, and we all know that ain't gonna happen. :grin-square:

I know Keith still wants to play you, mainly because he really does like playing you. I think the DVD would be a hoot. I believe this can happen in the future, you two battling it out, especially when he does actually start playing pool again.

Wishing everybody a wonderful DCC experience. I wish we could go, but we just cannot afford it at this time, truth be told. :frown:

JAM wish you and Keith could make the Derby, he is great to watch while in action.

Billy is certainly free to have whoever he wants tape the match and maybe the catch is that Accustats will pay expenses for him and Keith (and JAM) but wasn't this match first approached by TAR? Wouldn't it be fair if TAR was working on trying to make this match happen for months that this match still be put on by TAR?

I would love to see the kid again, Jen. I would also love to do commentary on the proposed DVD. It would be a blast and a big seller. It would also give Keith some needed exposure towards his selection into the 1pkt or bank HOF. Of course he is more than deserving, but like what happened to Jimmy Reid and others, Buddy Hall included, everybody overemphasizes Keith's 9 ball game. It sure couldnt hurt his chances if he knocked off Cardone who is in the 1pkt HOF.
What about designated "chaperones," or minders? Or teams of such. He's got plenty of friends, myself included, who would strive to keep him on the straight and narrow. Plus, he himself knows in order to beat Cardone he would have to keep in shape mentally and physically. Todays pool world is dull enough, let alone to have to continue to do without a fabulous character like The Ether.

Great idea, Mr Cardon. If you and/or Keith would do Player Review Commentary after the match, I'd definitely buy it. The Player Review matches are the best thing accu-stats has ever done.

Also, you and Keith should be miked so that the audience can here what is being said during the match. The one pet peeve I have about accu-stats is that I can't here what the players are saying. Even though you guys provide great commetary, it would be so much better to have players like Keith and Earl miked so we could here what they're saying.
