Well, someone has responded to my thread. I will be playing Johnny Archer on thursday July 10th at 7pm. We will be playing at Rainbow Billiards in EASLEY, SC. The game is 9ball, 10 ahead, rack your own. As of now the starting bet is $5000. Probably going to be around $7500 to $10000 bet. If anyone wants to watch and needs more info call Rainbow at 864-855-3714

Cool, great matchup.

I like both of you guys so I hate to take a side but GL to you bud. If I can make it I will gt out that way.

BTW- what equipment will ou guys be playing on?

I heard Clint McCollough talking about this match up probably happening this past weekend in Atlanta. I didnt want to say anything about it until it was official. I may be making the trip from Athens to sweat this. Any way we can get TAR there?

Awesome Larry. Goodluck in your match. This is Roy, the guy you gave the big goose egg to in your 4th round match this last weekend. Congrats on yet another victory. Sorry I wasn't able to film that video of you on the 9 footer. I'll catch you next time.

Way to step up and play one best 9 ballers in the US (or anywhere for that matter) I have seen you in action a few times before and you wear your heart on your sleeve; so what. You are one of the best because you hate to lose don't we all. It takes a big person to admit they have faults. You are doing what you love to do in one of the most diffacult professions to make a living. We met on two occasions around the mid-late 90's when I kept hearing about this young guy who was beating everyone in Wisconsin but didn't travel too much, and later at the Viking championship at Northfield. A lot of people on this board would love to be able to play pool for a living, but you put the work in and have a natural talent and love for the game to do that. Just remember to treat people the way you want to be treated and never give up on your dreams. Good Luck

That would be pretty sweet. I'm not sure if they would have enough room at the Rainbow to setup, but they might be able to squeeze in there somehow.

I'm actually gonna try to get down there for this. Not sure if the girlfriend is gonna be ok with me leaving while she's preganant, but I'm gonna give it a shot.
 
if this isnt an ehxibition match, and an actual gambling session, I would like to place a friendly bet on Jonathan Archer.
 
i like the way larry plays but i think johnny will take this one. i've seen him first hand dominating on triple shimmed pockets. this is a great match up! i would definitely buy the dvd if TAR could make it there to record this one!
 
I tell you what, since Larry obviously has no chance I will take him to win at 3:1. I don't want to go broke but I will bet a couple hundred if anyone of you want to bet a little something.
