Late 70's Gus Szamboti Window Cue

I have to agree with the masses...those veneers are fantastic! I really like the "olive-green" veneer when used correctly in color-combinations...and this was definitely used correctly!!!

nice pick up, thats an investment of pool history /fame.Ya cant go wrong with this one.Thats my fav veneer colors too,next to the ones that was in the old showman.

New Cue

Hey Chris, Dan ! I was wondering what would make you part with that Showman and NOW I SEE buddy. WOW, you definitely know how to pick'em ! And I love the CMD on the Searing weight bolt, nice added touch. All my best.

Congradulation and Happy Father's Day Chris. That is a super nice old school Gus. I have one like it but with railroad track stitching and i love mine too.

Fantastic cue Chris.

I am always impressed when I see veneers line up so perfectly. Gus was certainly ahead of his time. By the way I learned something with that pin, I've never seen another Szamboti with it. Really cool cue, enjoy it in good health.

Great cue. I'll go out on a limb and guess that John Showman, being a fan of Gus Szamboti, probably understands. Shoot, he may even be proud to have been part of the deal. Congrats.

That is a great looking cue. I had a Gus that looked very similar to yours. It was the best hitting cue I have ever played with. I think that was because of the weight of the cue. (20oz+) It was heavy but played great straight pool.
