JA called me this morning and woke me up, he was very very shaken. Lee his son had to go in for emergency surgery this morning for his ears. He had operations on them before, they flaired up again real bad again today. the Drs, surgeon, everyone cleared their scheduals for Lee's operation.

Its not just tubes to drain them, its much more serious than that. I cant recall the name of the disease. Its bad stuff I looked it up before and looks like mushrooms that grow in your ears, it can cause permanent hearing loss and also puts pressure on your brain.

JA asked for me to say a prayer for his son, I did. I hope other people here do as well. We had no idea this was going to happen or that Lee's problem was so advanced they needed to do emergency sugery- Its not a minor operation, they have to go in behind your ear, not through ear canal.


I never heard JA so upset, He said he would call me tonight, if he does I will post what I find out. Lee is a great kid I love him and I sure do hope he wont lose his hearing.


I'm not sure what else to say, I was not going to post this, because of all the recent "issues" Then I got to thinking, "Wait a minute, this matters, this is more important than anything" I pray that Lee is going to be ok.


Please say a prayer for JA's son "Lee bug" as we call him. This couldn't have happened at a worse time.

i'm 80% sure thats it, its been going on for 2 years. I'll report back later and let JA know I started a thread, despite the beef from yesterday-a innocent young boy is suffering and we all need to step back and drop our guns and band together for him.

Thanks Chris, you are great man. And have my highest respect. I mean that on the square. I hope we know each other in 30 years from now. Please tell Barry hello from us, Kelly and me. Hopefully before were all 60 years old we'll meet up again. Kelly and Barry clicked up real good as friends, which I thought was cool. the day they met at JOB's was Kellys first time in a "Hardcore" players room. My back was so bad I had to go lay across 3 bar stools-then the floor, Barry was triple nice to her-I remember things like that.

At the risk of sounding corny, it sure is nice when people who are part of the "Pool Family" get along. Infighting is bad for everyone, and when something like this happens we need to step back and be greatful that were alive, sure we all have problems, some people hate others no matter what, but the priority's get mixed up because of ego, $$$ and other shit thats really not as important. I left pool for 8-9 years came back and picked up where I left off, I changed during that time, so did others. Some didnt and there are people i never would have met if it wasnt for the internet.


Right now I'm only concerned about Lee Bug, everything else will work out.

Eric, thanks for letting all of us know that Johnny's son Lee is in need of our prayers. May God be in his corner...:smile:
 
When you have a child that is in pain for any reason, the whole world comes into perspective, rather quickly.

Prayers sent, Who cares about pool at this point.
No one let alone a CHILD deserves to go through something like this.
