Make It Happen....it's on

Tough call. If they changed start times then those who believed the match would start at its scheduled time would be put off, no?

They should probably stream some funsies matches, or get the players to show some lesser know situations and their responses.

On a positive note. I'm loving the production and the commentary, Billy doing great job as always, keeps the game interesting for me and I'm loving watching these players, specially the Accu-stats picks. Cohan is great, Efren is always great and he amazes me how he plays even on his age, god bless him.

On a non-so positive note, one thing I dislike and its' only this one thing, since I live in the Asian part of the world, it's already late for me, it's 11:11pm now, almost mid-night here, even with this I bought the whole thing to watch all day sessions and maybe first match of night session if I don't have work early morning, the thing isn't this though, sometimes matches end quickly, like right now we have to wait more like 4 hrs until the next match, why? if a match ended quickly when efren plays, then can't we just adjust and make the next match 1 hour later after its finished? I think it's better, so we finish up even earlier.

For example also happened last night, in nightly session, and first night session was efren and he finished the match in 25 minutes, then we waited like 3 hrs until the next match which was Shane vs Alex and I couldn't skip this match, ended up sleeping 6;00am in the morning :(

All i'm asking is, if match ended up quickly, can we just tell the players to prepare and their match will be played after 1 hour? it's not like they have another schedule or anything, they flown there to play pool I'm guessing, thanks.

Does anybody know what the two matches are for Saturday evening, or for Sunday? I might head down to Sandcastle if I can. I've never seen Efren play live.

Efren plays at 2:30 pm and 9:30 pm on Saturday. The Sunday lineup hasn't been announced yet.

What are they playing for? Is it something like 1K to winner, 500 to loser of each match?

I'm not sure but I think the loser gets $0. On the other hand, all their expenses are paid.

PLAYERS

Jones".......................Jeremy will look to extend games especially playing the more aggressive players like Smith and Chohan. It's usually the more aggressive players that have the least amount of patience, Smith and Chohan's patience will be tested going against a master of the game in Jones.............................."

Interestingly, when Jeremy won the US Open championship held at a Pool hall ( now defunct) in Kalamazoo,MI in the ??year (around the year 2000) he was aggressive with his style of play and played all out offense in the Finals to win the title.

t is officially going to be a race to 4 the rest of the event.

I would officially say, YAY :yeah:

Doesn't that potentially mess up the tie-breakers (games won, then ball count) since, so far, 4 of the players have played 3 matches racing to 3 and 2 of the players have played 2 matches racing to 3. So 2 of the players will end up with more races to 4 than the other 4 players.

They will have to consider pro rating the first 2 days vs the last 2 days.

Not a big problem.
But good idea to bring it up.

I'll make it be known.

IF it comes to that, and it hasn't since the inception of MIH one pocket,
then the counts can be pro-rated.

edit: oldzilla beat me to it.
