I was tossing and turning last night trying to figure out how Mika got the nickname "Iceman". History tells us that most people with this name, "Iceman", acquired it because of their ability to maintain composed while at the table, or doing whatever it is they are doing. Larry Hubbart is a prime example of this and rightfully so earned the nickname "Iceman". Reportedly, these people were called this nickname because an observer would have no idea if they were winning or losing by simply observing the person.
No offense to anyone and this is not to bash Mika, but the nickname "Iceman" is simply no fitting for him. It is obvious to tell if he is winning or losing by his demeanor at the table. It is surprising that he has been so successful in tournament pool the way I saw him beat himself up over the last couple of days playing SVB.
So, can anybody think of any new nicknames for Mika?
This is the real "Iceman"....
