I thought he was one of your daughters????Ken_4fun said:My friend $takehor$e has one on AZ for sale that is AMAZING!!! It is 99%+ and he is wanting something like $1550 or something. He showed it to some dealers and they said it was $2K+ cue!
I really like the cue, obviously and would like to see one of AZ brothers get it.
In response to your original request, I had an Omega/dpk cue and it was a great looking, great balance, but the shaft taper was different for me. I am not sure if the Bender cues have the same taper as the Omega/dpk cues but there is a difference than other cues.

Ask $takehor$e to sent you pics asap. He is selling it to cheap, and I told him so but he is like my daughters and hears me but sometimes doesnt listen....![]()

Thanks,
I didn't bump this 13 year-old thread that Rayjay enabled, but his comment (red-fonted by me) caused me to wonder: how the heck does someone find/establish the spine of the cue's butt portion?Benders are great cues. Mike is one of three David Paul Kersenbrock's (DPK) proteges, the other two being Jerry Franklin (Southwest cues) and Ed Young. All masters. I play with a Bender sneaky pete (he made only 12) and the spine of the shaft lines up perfectly with the spine of the butt for an extremely solid hit with lots of feel. I was also fortunate enough to have a shaft made by Kersenbrock for the pete that I sometimes use when I'm feelin' it! If you are ordering a new Bender, be aware that the resale market for cues is very soft right now and some really strong deals can be had on used ones. Enjoy!
