They need to get this stuff on tape. Sigel, Schmidt, Engert, or anyone else who can do it, have a duty to try to beat 526. They owe it to us mere mortals. This sport needs a highest ever run on tape. C'mon guys! You can do it.
i saw Mike run a 5 pack playing 9 ball at the Bicycle Club in LA, he was complaining about his tooth ache and how he couldnt make a ball because it hurt so bad, mean while he ran out the set.
I reminded him about that last time I talked to him, it was funny 15 years later he still was sticking to his story.
Jay if you want to bet I'll give you 6:5 and take Mike and you can have KT, fair enough???

I would be very pleased to see a 14.1 Challenge Match between Mike S. and John S. in the next few months ... Who knows, I might even be persuaded to make a small wager ?

Mike gave a running commentary on how he was going to set up his pattern for every rack. It reminded me of thirty years ago at Ridge Billiards in Rochester. He did admit that certain shots were much easier back then

I'm not a big Sigel fan, but I hope they show him and JS play during the next IPT show. I think it would be a great game. Even if Sigel is rusty, I still think he wouldnt be too rusty in straight pool.

seriously mike's one of the greatest people to ever pick up a cue - there's no doubt in my mind he still has what it takes to compete at the top.
trouble is there's probably a bit of doubt in his mind, such is the way when you have a huge layoff like that and/or get older. He probably isn't as confident as he used to be which would have an effect.

If anybody wants to dispute that, go to Accu-Stats and get yourself a copy of Mike's 150 & out against Mike Zuglan - IMO that is best display of pocket billiards mastery ever recorded. If that doesn't work - call Efren. He'll tell you what he thinks.

you know ive told people i might be playing mike a 14.1 match and my friends are like oh your stealing.it cracks me up when they say that because hes still awesome and im going to seriously have my hands full.on top of that he will be playing on the ipt cloth probably until june 24 getting ready for me .i will only get to practice on it for 30 minutes like the last time.long story short mike is a great talent and i will be fortunate to get by him in this match. i am looking forward to the challenge though.also its exciting to know 14.1 will be forever caught on film between him and i.hope everybody watches and thanks for the support

Mike's pattern play in that 150 against Zuglan is very close to perfect. As Grady said he never banks a ball, only shoots one hard 5 ball because he only got out of line ONCE in 150 balls. It's incredible. Best run I've ever seen, and supposedly Mosconi and Crane were in the front row. The tape doesn't show or mention them but that's what I've heard. Anyway, it leaves no doubt that Siegel is a MASTER...Tom

That being said, if you aren't preparing now on that IPT cloth shame on you ! With all your backers making that possible shouldn't be a problem. What would it cost ? $300 ? Put it right on that new Diamond
