Missing Blackjack's input.

It figures that you'd say this Brian...since you are Tim's little monkey! Thankfully, most posters here know you for what you are...a troll.

It isn't a choice the Forum has to make.

Please offer Dave the privacy he is asking for and deserves by not continuing the conversation with any info pertaining to his absence.

I don't care to know the details why he left.

I can only hope however that if it had anything to do with some idiot forum member caused this, that idiot should be banned for life.

In that respect. the forum does have a choice.

Belive it or not...IMO there are posters on this board that are way more important than others...........Blackjack is one of them.

I don't necessarily care for all of the "instructor posters" some of them although helpful also have a personal agenda by posting....Blackjack never promoted his instruction..He did not have a persoanl agenda He freely shared more information than ANYONE on this board.

Would this be in reference to the so-called Australian Oyster?

Blackjack, in my opinion, is the most valuable poster on AZB. It makes me sick to my stomach that the actions of a small select few can be so hateful and vindictive that it chases off one of the most informative people on this board.

I learned more from his posts than anyone else. He has a gift with posting informative threads.

COME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!! No one listens to those other people, no one.

Dave

I agree with everything you have said.

I noticed BJ wasn't posting but I figured maybe he got busy with something else.

I don't know the reason why he stopped but us guys over at the straight pool section are sure going to miss his input, his analysis, his tireless dedication to the game. He has made many of us play a little better.

I still remember my mistake in trying to give him positive feedback and I accidentally made it negative instead. He said when he saw it, he almost spit his coffee out on his keyboard. He realized i f'ed up and forgave me. I felt like such a dilrod.

Come back DS so I can make it up to you.

I also wish you would finish your 14.1 book. I need the help.

I too hope that Blackjack will finish his book as I had been looking forward to reading it.

I've learned a lot from Blackjack, especially from his 14.1 videos with commentary. His absence is a tremendous loss for our forum. I hope that someday he will reconsider his decision and come back.

I was just thinking it would be kind of neat to have an AZB hall of fame. Maybe sort of an annual vote or something for AZ members.

I think he would have definitely been one of the winners!

Anyways, heck, the door will always be open. :D

Agreed.
I've been compulsively checking his profile for weeks trying to see if I missed the release of the 14.1 book. He had said he was waiting for Danny Harriman to have time to sell his DVD, until 9/20 I believe. Since then I've been trying to figure out where he had gone.

Blackjack, whatever's up I wish you the best!

Yeah huh? Where would that be?

BlackJack is making the occasional comment in a thread. Nice to see he is still around but I haven't seen him post any of his old type posts with a lot of substance. I rarely go to the straight pool forum so he may be doing more there.

Smorgass Bored would blow the doors off of the AZB Hall of Fame.

But you do have a good point. There are posters that I remember that are no longer here that I appreciated even if they were a little rough around the edges. Bill Senko and OldHasBeen come to mind rather quickly.

I think the AZ Hall of Fame should be from posters that are no longer around for one reason or another. Death or Banned.

Othewise, you would have a Gang of Ten replicating themselves and sucking up to everyone else super hard to get there. :lmao:
