*** Mosconi Cup 2015 Updates Thread ***

Just want to say thanks for those that provide updates throughout the day. I'm watching now, but unfortunately have to work shortly and can only glance at the forum every now and then.

Your distain for Mike is fuelling your stupidity. You were on the right track when you said 'pressure' and lost focus. So far, while under pressure he hasn't produced. Playing a team full of killers, all with a world championship pedigree makes this pressure cooker called the mosconi cup what it is. Hold the barrage of smack talk towards Dechaine until after the tournament, day 2 is just about to begin anything can happen. I hope 'fathead' proves you wrong.

I think what I've stated here was pretty accurate based on his past behavior and his play yesterday. I don't think it's stupidity at all - sorry you see it that way. I disagree.

To your point, "a team full of killers with world championship pedigree" is exactly the class Mike said he was in. It also includes some of the players he stated he should have been seeded higher than in recent tournaments. When that's the case, you had better not crumble under the pressure when you go around touting yourself at that level.

I hope he proves me wrong too – I'd like to see us win this year.

What an out from berg and sky. Berg with a great draw shot and it didn't look like much, but to get a leave after that combo was nice by Sky. Berg made it interesting though.

BOOOOMMMMMM!!!!! What double team!!!! Couple bumps but Skyler is showing the world how solid he is!!! WOW!!!!!! :clapping::happydance:

I like Sky's attitude - seems like he's confident but looks for the opinion from the more seasoned when he plays doubles. Very humble.

Justin and Sky were already familiar with one another's games. Glad they got this win!

Clearly, sky needs to work on his kicking systems

I have seen him play quite a bit and even though I wouldn't say it's a great strength like it is for Justin, I think they are all struggling with adjusting for the sliding of the cue ball on the new cloth. That, and 2 times yesterday that Justin was kicking, the shot clock was beeping when he was pulling the trigger. I am sure that caused him to rush the shot just a little.

I always knew Sky was special. He's blossoming into a full-blown powerhouse!

I'm crying happy tears over here in D.C I'm so proud!
