Or maybe (and quite possibly) most people are seeing the fact that Hatch is currently the best player on that list, and we'd like to see America win the Mosconi cup? That would be my guess.
How is it a "fact that Hatch is currently the best player on that list"?
That list has US Open winners on it and guys that pay their dues on the tournament trail and play
just as good as Hatch. If Hatch was the "best" player on that list then he would be on the tournament trail beating all of them and making a lot money doing it. What does Hatch do outside of regional events like Joss, Turning Stone, and Valley Forge?
I am not knocking Dennis, he is a great player but he is not the best player. I'm knocking the people that think he is the best and trying to figure out where that "logic" is coming from.
finally a hatch naysayer. i thought i might be the only one who didnt and wont vote for hatch.
You're not alone. Sometimes things are a little easier if you pick your battles and this really isn't one I was going to choose but I guess I just opened the can of worms. Not agreeing that Hatch is the best will bring on an onslaught of "how dare you" and "no one will play him" posts. I've noticed the bulk of these posts coming from people in the NYC region. They're outspoken and tend to say whats on their mind more so and more easily than others. Nothing wrong with it, its just how some folks can tend to be and is probably why they're more vocal about Dennis than others are about other players? Just a guess. Either way, I'm glad this is coming to an end.
