Wayne was as good as it gets. One of the most underrated guys out there. Had a good following overseas but deserved so much more recognition than he got.

Cody is slowly but surely becoming recognized as one of the best cue builders of his generation. Love seeing his new work as much as I love seeing his fan base grow with each cue he brings to the public.

In no particular order---Andy Vandervoort, John Nemec, Larry Vigus. And up and coming, Brent Summers. All Old School, true full splice!!

I am too old to change, also know it is Indian, not arrow that brings game home.

Most pro players would play with Players SP, if endorsement money was 250k a year.

I never understood this. I often thought it was due to Bob being Bob. He is a very quiet unassuming man who never was the self promoter that the others I have mentioned are but his work is superlative. The quality of it, how much of himself he puts into it and most of all just the sheer amazing playability of his cues IMO is far superior to those I previously mentioned who have garnered far more attention and financial gain from their work. It's really a shame, I've always believed he can give every one of the other makers from this area the 7 in cue building expertise. Scruggs are the only ones close in playability and Bob was a big part of that in the early years when those cues first took the billiard world by storm. He's definitely one of the most underrated ever IMO.

There are several that did not get mentioned. Capone cues, Tom Trott cues, G Newport cues, Sly cues and Phillippi cues. All from Maryland

Believe Mike Lambros should be added to list.

Truth is many under rated little builders do great work.

Cuemakers are artists people, artists have unique talent.

Has anyone bothered to go back and make a list of the different names and how many times
the cue maker was mentioned? So really after all is said and done, there is really no agreement.
All you have to do is browse the threads. It simply confirms everyone has a favorite cue maker.
