My 1st noninstructional

I just finished my 1st noninstructional video that will be used as an intro in a few different places for advertising. It's not pro level but I did shoot, film & edit it all by myself which you'll see is kinda cool.

If your at work there is background music so turn down the volume and if you see anything wrong please let me know.

Awesome - as usual!

I love that Diamond table with the blue cloth - the balls really show up much better than your other videos. Great job!

I just checked out your website a short time ago, Joe. WOW! You really did a nice job on it. :)

I love the videos!

JT,
I liked the video, well done; good luck.

I did happen to have a lesson last week from Hunter Lombardo; who was in town working with a friend of mine. He had great things to say about your teaching; and showed me a couple of cool ways to use your aiming device (the one with the plastic prongs...????Third Eye Aim Trainer???).

Since you are a proponent of 10-ball, Joe, I would be very interested to read your insights on this thread: http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=94981

Hey Honey,

Long time no see! I say let'em break soft. The 1 in side is a skill shot determined by the breaker, not a defect in the rack like the wing ball in 9 ball. Both players have the option to soft break and like Jerry said I'm sure it was more of a mental advantage than a physical one. I didn't see any of it but I'll bet his break N run percentage was lower than his normal rate. Also his fouls on the break were probably lower and I'll bet that helped more than anything else.

What have you & Keither been up to?

He calls me his coach as he's running out on me. With a little luck Hunter and I'll will be doing some instructionals togehter here in the near future. Kids got good potential as a player, instructor and representative. Glad you had some time with him. I was pulling hard for your friend this past weekend!

It's pretty cool, but way too long. If it's a promo/ad, it should be a minute or less in length.

Although the shot-by-shot run out was interesting, it eats up way too much time and is a little slow. I'd cut that whole part out.

Also, it's a big Predator ad, so unless they are funding some of your effort, I'd cut that too--though I did like the cues rolling out shot at the begining. The trophies pan shots at the end are pretty cool too.

Overall, the quality is pretty good, but if you were not such a great guy, I would not have watched the whole thing :D

Joe...WOW! That's absolutely first class production, for doing it yourself! Very professional! I love the lighting! It's a great promotional piece, and I hope it brings you tons of business...it should!

Randy and I just completed our first series of instructional videos, which should be ready in a month or so! We had a first-rate production team, with a studio setup, four cameras (including an overhead), and full audio. We're excited to see the finished product!

Thank Cor, I agree with the length. You should see the long version. I know typical ads 30-60 sec but hey take a shot, be different right. I was thinking & hoping for what like Niel said, make'em wonder what's next.

Yeah for the Predator no funding (I didn't ask) but they have provided me with equipment for about 10 years & I do believe in low squirt products for the students. Maybe it'll lead to something?

You edited that yourself? Wow. Super job!
I partially agree w/ Corey. If you're using it as a promo to attract students - I wouldn't worry so much about the length. If you want to use it for a promo to attract sponsorship - you want to focus on your trophies, a few trick shots, and have a brief clip of you speaking.

Really good job! I know, I know. I need to send you some scores as well! I'll get on that this week.
