Same here. Just called my parents and they are ok. Midwest City where JJ's is was not hit. But just to the south is where the big one was.

Stay strong Oklahoma.

Ditto.......what a brutal weather event. Prayers and thoughts for everyone near that area that may have been affected.

MIssed again...

...for the 3rd time. Okie and I are about 5-7 miles south of the worst of it. Trying to contact a couple of friends in the area but comms are mostly out including extremely degraded cell service.

Thanks for the thoughts and support for the area...Sooners will persevere...

Positive energy and prayers being sent! Growing up in Nebraska I have been through and lost more then I want to think about. It looks like tomorrow will be a repeat so hang on.
So sorry to hear about the grief for the good folks of OK.:sorry:

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you that have been hit by the devastating tornadoes the last few days, I hear over 50 in just two days, that Moore,Okla. one was a monster.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. My family was very fortunate to be unaffected by this storm.

Buddy - Dwayne had a grandson at the plaza elementary where so many children lost their lives today. His grandson was found shaken but alive in the rubble! Dwayne was on site at the school helping out. Pretty amazing considering he just had a tube run through his heart a few days ago! Okies are a tough bunch!

A sad day today...

Ken

p.s. Buddy, I moved to Mustang about 11 years ago.

This is Dwayne's grandson being pulled out of the rubble by Dwayne's son Dusty (has back to the camera).

I am amazed this young man was alive. The two children next to him were not as fortunate. So very sad!

To be more specific for those who also know Dwayne. I am referring to Dwayne Payne. He is a senior BCA referee.

I don't personally know anybody in the area, but all of you are in my thoughts tonight (pool players and non-players). I hope you stay safe and I hope the weather stays away tonight.

To Ken and the others I know from there...

Ken, Sean, et al that I know from there, know that my prayers are with you all and all those affected.

I'll be back in town the second or third week of June and of course will come by Joe's...

Hope everyone is well and will see you all soon.

My heart goes out to those in Oklahoma. May 3rd, they had a torando, and now this. CNN says this one had a 2-mile-wide spread, with winds 190 to 200 miles per hour. I can't even imagine what that is like.

At the time of this writing, CNN reports over 90 people are dead.

I pray for all those families who have been affected. God bless all of them.

Unbelievable. Unfathomable.

I wish the best for all of my neighbors in Oklahoma. I don't know what else to say.

Storm

wooo wee What a monster stood on my front porch and watched
it go by right to left about 30 blocks south of where i live . thats
reach out and touch it close . going to try to get my heart restarted
good luck to all . Robert

In the npr section theres a link to a oklahoma tv station that is doing a fantastic job. They are reporting the number at 24 dead, saying some bodies may have been counted twice.
