They would have put right back on the truck. Chances are they were a cheap contractor Diamond hired. NOBODY comes into my home and talks to me that way! You might not have gotten your table right away but there are other options. Screw them!
So yesterday I get the call....
My Diamond Pro-Am will be to my house at 7:30 p.m. I patiently await till I see the truck come down the road.
I want to tell you in advance that the room the table is going in is sufficient for the table.
The installers brought the table into the room and The FIRST of requests was that they measure from the wall to the edge of the table and make sure it is square and has enough room to shoot. I would think table installers would know how much room on each side of the table you need. The installer RICK then started with the attitude. " I'm NOT moving this table over and over". I thought it was his job to move the table. He said just run your stick around the table. That's not what I wanted. This guy Rick got very loud, argumentative, and was cursing at me.
I also want to note that my 67 year old mother was in the room as this guy was carrying on.
My SECOND Request was that they level the table. This was not done correctly. I could hear the two guys when they put the level on it say that's Good Enough.. WOW!! To any pool player you know if its not level its not good enough.
1. Did not take the time to install the table properly.
2. Did not level the table.
3. Did get what I was suppose to get. They said Cyclops Balls, I got Aramith. NOT A BIG DEAL.
What do you Az'ers think I should do? And how I should handle this?

I think that was Rick from the A-Team that contracts for Diamond. They posted in the Mechanic Forum letting people know they would be in different areas if they need work done. I could be wrong but I know there is a Rick in that group.
oh yeah. If I ever get my own table *nobody* leaves without it being set up *perfect.*

They used machinist levels for literally like 3 minute's.
Well to be fair, he did actually move his mother out into the shed in order to get the table in.Forget the table, the fact that they were disrespectful to your mother is unacceptable.
Really A FEW EXTRA BUCKS!!!
I spent over $5000 bucks it should have been done right!
I agree 100%.

Sounds like they must have gotten their Customer Service Training directly from RKC.
