Here's the juicy details.

6 pointer. Ebony on ebony(Gabon). 3 veneers(Natural, blue, and natural). 19.2 oz. (Pretty rare to find an ebony cue at that weight). All rings + extra ring in butt. Joint protectors, Leather wrap, and ivory ferrules all original from SW. Since i am not trying to move it I CAN say that it hits a ton, Monster, etc. lol. Anyways enjoy the pix. I gotta go hit some balls. Later.;)

Nice yellow shaft

That one shaft looks like it is made from some good old maple. Enjoy your new cue.

Many have tried to copy SW, but very few have come close to duplicating the hit.

Awesome cue. for some reason, the thing I like most about southwests is the bumper/buttsleeve. the squareness of it. I have no idea why.

congratulations on your new SW ..and your pictures are always amazing...you finally found the SW cue that you are looking for...now go to the pool hall and shoot with it :)

One of the sharpest SW I've seen. Congrats! And man do I love those shafts....thats good wood.

Couldn't be happier for you JR, soory I missed our meeting to see you break it in

Beautiful cue:thumbup:
One shaft looks like lakewood.
The pics at Bryan Mordt photo studio are always amazing:thumbup:

Excellent cue! That is exactly what I was going to order (except for the extra ring) when I put my name on the list in 03. I might have to rethink it now that you have it already! I can't believe the weight, and also the shaftwood. What a cue!

(I love the ebony-on-ebony look with white and blue veneers; my non-southwest version is the Tony Zinzola ebony-on-ebony thread here).

But your SW is simply outstanding. Nice catch!

Thanks everyone for the compliments.

@ Ssach: Yeah that shaft is super sweet.

@ burns420: I dig the look of the SW buttsleeve as well.

@ The Beginner: Thanks. All credit for the pix goes to Bryan mordt (BCM).
The search took a little longer then anticipated...but well worth it i think.

@ PistolPat , Punchout , monchiwai , MATTY , kchighendcues , and Cuaba: Thanks alot.

@ Varney cues: I love GOOD WOOD also and these shafts have it.

@ HIRUN526: Thanks. Now if i could only "use the force" with it and run out a little more often that would be perfect :p

@ watk69: Thanks. Shoot me a PM when you wanna meet up. Anywhere but sweet tooth is cool.

@ Jamesu & chiatlard: Thanks for the comments.
