I am opening a small pool room in chiangmai,Thailand. Still undecided about the name. So i decide to throw in a contest. Name my pool room and winner will get a 'players' pool cue valued approximately 50usd.
If the winner is out of usa, they have to cover shipping from usa to their country.

Contest is open to all:thumbup:

Last date will be 18thAugust,2011

Thanks in advance to the AZ Family:thumbup:

I would use a traditional name associated with Rooms location:

Northern Billiards

Lana Billiards

Ping River Billiards

Naga Billiards

"WAT" Billiards

JIMO

Congratulations,

How about a traditional name like Chiang Mai Family Billiard Centre and Cafe? It would probably come up on top when you do a google search for Chiang Mai.

If I win, raffle my cue off as an opening night door prize.

Short and sweet.
It means Fun Billiards.
If you go with that you can raffle the cue opening night.
G.L. with your new place.

Before I can get creative I need to know what type of room you will be opening. Are you going for trendy and hip to attract the young professional crowd? Are you going upscale hard woods and fancy to attract the single malt / cigar / wine / shark fin crowd. Are you going warehouse, live music and gallons of booze with bottle service to attract the heavy party crowd? Or are you going no frills 3.75" pockets to attract the gamblers and pool players?

Thanks everyone, Keep em coming:thumbup:

What i have in mind is to have a place for serious pool players, i am trying to make it trendy and not like a gambling hole, but rather like a club environment.I would be having Pizza,Burgers and Sandwich's as food, and drinks of course. Again suggestions are most welcome.
I am a pastry chef myself so i can do all these things myself. I plan to restart my cake supply business as well which i had earlier but closed down due to personal turmoil in my life.
