To all the Balabushka Connaisseurs. I got a hold of a 20 year old Balabushuka. Actually this is what the guy from whom I got it mentionned to me. I would like to know if it really is a real Balabushka. So here are a few pictures if anybody can help me. I would appreciate very much!!! Also if it were possible to have an approxamate value! Thanks to all in advance!!!

(I'm having trouble puting the pictures on the forum who could help me. Maybe I can e-mail the pictures to someone and that person could put them on my thread!!!)
Thanks

In case the other people are not clear enough.....

George Balabushka died in the mid-1970's. Any legitimate Balabushka cue would be approximately 33+ years old. New than that and it is a fake, knockoff, replica, whatever.

Hold it guys...

Hang on here guys.

Here is a guy asking for help. He was told, or assumes it is 20 years old.

While my wife never makes a mistake, she has a habit of pointing out mine. My point? Well, let's give the guy a break, help him post pics and lets see what he really has?

I have owned my Corvette since I was 19 years old, as an old man at 44, that Corvette could tell a few stories, and I have so many "experts" tell me Corvette stories that I knew couldnt be true but when they showed me or took it to what they were trying to explain, I have been geniunely surprized. Inclunding a 1953 in an barn, yep with a bunch of crap on top of it but sure enough a 1953 Corvette in a barn.

Just a thought.

Yep heard that one.

THE ONE I SUFFERED THROUGH THE MOST WAS A BOY BOUGHT A CORVETTE RIGHT BEFORE HE WAS SHIPPED TO VIETNAM. ONCE THERE HE WAS KILLED, AND HIS MOTHER EVENTUALLY SOLD THE CAR. IT WAS LISTED AS A 1967 CHEVEROLET, AND SOMEONE STUMBLED UPON IT. IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN TRUE ONCE, BUT I HAVE HEARD THAT FREAKING STORY 1000 TIMES.

THE OTHER ONE I HEARD REPEATABLY, A GUY DIED IN HIS CORVETTE. HE WASNT FOUND FOR A NUMBER OF MONTHS, ANYWAY HE ROTTED IN THE CAR AND THE CAR COULD BE BOUGHT FOR 1000 BUT THEY COULDNT GET THE SMELL OF DEATH OUT OF THE CAR.

When I hear someone start with the story, I dont stop them, I let them tell it and eventually they will finish and I give them a surprized look and dont comment.

LOL

The corvette in the barn story owned by the boy that went to viet nam, it was a song, great song, if you are interested i will look up the name of it. I think the name was, Riding with Private Malone. Not sure, but have the cd.

Thats great.. car stories, like you, I have heard them all. They seem to be pretty consistent all around the country. But so are Bushka and Boti stories. I have heard the same story about a Bushka tomato stake / door jamber oh.. about 25x, the Gus at the flea market for 10.00 a dozen times.
