I heard the same that he is slowly getting better, responsive. Honestly I believe it is 1 because Mike is a fighter, 2 because of all the support and love you all have shown. respect you all.Touched base with Mike's Sister today. She said he is awake and aware, but still on a ventilator. She said it's baby steps, but steps in the right direction.

I am on 5mg of Eliquis twice a day for life and also have medicare. Costs me $130 a month. My doc told me it was going generic in two years about a year ago. Hope that's true. Before I turned 65 it was $500 a month.I am, being on medicare with the best supplement Eliquis cost me $550 out of pocket for a 90 day supply vs $10.00 for Warfrin. I also
had a leak in my Aortic valve and as it got worse it was time for valve replacement at 66yrs old. I am gonna be 70 in 1 1/2 weeks
and feel pretty good.

expenses are going to be tremendously high. The out of pocket costs can be financially devastating. The news that
he has recovered to be able to undergo heart surgery is wonderfully encouraging. But there is still a long road ahead.
So if readers don’t mind, I’ll bring this up from time to time, at least until the GoFundMe campaign goal is attained.
Thanks to everyone that was able to contribute and if you haven’t yet, perhaps you’ll be able to in the near future.
