Nicknames, What's yours

Nicknames!

Silky: I used to play real smooth, but it isn't really relative anymore
since I've switched to a more mechanical SPF routine.

Yosemite Sam: I've been in a heated argument or two and can get a little
spirited at times! :p

Dainty: A few of the fellas I hang out with are some quite LARGE ol' boys,
since I'm the smallest of our crew I inherited "Dainty".

Money: Assigned by the ex-wives, because that's what they get from
me!

Poophead/Pissant: My mom's faves!

Sam "The Man with the Master Plan": From my ex-girlfriend. :D

That's pretty funny stuff. Maybe he should change his nickname from The Rifleman to Buddy "Hackett" Hall. Nah, The Rifleman sounds much cooler.

Jingle,

I said hello to Buddy many years ago at a Turning Stone event. He was selling Lucasi products at the time. I said Hi Cecil. His answer was "you all don't know me good enough to call me Cecil". Chuckle every time I think of the comment or Buddy.

Last name Crawford, so Crawfish. But, in the pool world, here's why it stuck.

The Australian Oyster (Tim something or other) came to Raleigh and was asking around for action. But, when I told him I'd play for $300 a set, he kept telling me I was crazy and didn't know who he was. It was like he was trying to talk me outta playing.

"I'm the Australian Oyster!"
"Well, my money is here. Are we gonna play or not?"
"But, you don't know who I am. I'm the Australian Oyster."
"Well, I'm the Carolina Crawfish. Get the balls."

There you have it. It stuck.

Tim White...........what a douche bag.

My handle came from a New York State 9 Ball tournament in Binghamton, New York back in the early 90's. Up to that point I was the "lolly pop kid". Loved Toosie Roll Pops. I mean loved them! Used to play with one sticking out my mouth. In that event, I played either six or seven consecutive hill - hill matches:shocked2:. Age induced forgetfulness! Eventually finishing second. The tournament director started introducing me as the "Cardiac Kid". It stuck.

Not to hard to figure out

My nickname is GMAC:

I got it at the pool room but not from playing pool from playing poker. My handle on PStars is GMAC. I give credit to the richest pool tournment director in the world Mr. Wiliam Finnegan (and that's not a good thing) for starting my nickname he would watch me play poker and go and announce my pool match and say GMAC table ...

Before that I was simply Gregg M.

i don't have one. But last night i went in and a guy said, "What's up, chump?" I had to stop that real quick and said, "No, no, no no no- that's CHAMP."

We'll see how that goes.

I've been called:

OneArmed

The Turk

Two Ball Matt <--- the best one haha, referencing my awesome short straight pool runs

nicknames i get are usually along the lines of The Fish or ATM.. lol i guess i cant exclude heath bar crunch and heathcliff cause i dont think ill ever hear the end of those...

i garnered the nicname "Shadow" when i lived in las vegas because I hung around with Mark Estes a lot - a fairly prominent person in the las vegas pool scene... before he got busy with real work. :P

Many moons ago, i was called The Giant Killer.

Cause i could only beat guys that were better than me and not equal to or lower.... it was the strangest thing, and it wasnt because of crazy weight either.
