No Bonus Ball live stream???

Come on man these guys are pros bro. They practice this game for 8-10 hours a day and hone their craft. They get together and have formal practices on off days and do early practice on game days. Obviously they know the rules of the league that pays them as well as the referees.

Mikey - beyond noticing that none of the players were smiling, I noticed they all had a nice tan or sunburn. I'll give you one guess what they have been doing.

Nathan wrote on Facebook...

Certainly didn't expect that many viewers, and the servers didn't stand a chance. But as of an hour ago, I just added a new larger VPS to host the site, video bandwidth increased to accommodate over 10k viewers, and IOS device support added. Day 2 should be good to go.

Why not have the new larger VPS in the first place? You already spent million bucks on the studio, etc. etc.

And someone brought this up to me - where is the hint of apology in any of Nathan's Facebook posts.

Why the site went down is no mystery, it was simply overloaded. I've seen sites crash with 20 simultaneous viewers. It is exactly how a DDoS works. The server or routers cannot respond fast enough and traffic backs up.

As far as gambling on the 10,000 unique viewers, who will be providing the access logs and will that person be bondable?

Yes you can bust me if there were 10,000 unique viewers. Window is open.

PLEASE get rid of those gay jerseys. Make these guys dress like they're on the first tee at Augusta. Shannon is one of my favorite players and he has no business wearing a basketball jersey. It fits him as well as ballerina slippers.

Well since this is becoming a reality now, my terms are simple:

I want the MD5 of the log within the next 4 hours and a notary public that I can contact to agree the log has not been modified in any way. You then have 24 hours to provide the log on any private FTP service. If the MD5 has even one bit changed all bets are off.

Where's Lutman when we need him lol.

Sooooo jaded.

Rodney knows the rules better than anyone, Lee Brett as well.

on he square they did practice the past couple days, i'm not sure why they made so many mistakes last night, Shannon played the wrong shot 2 times, he had stone cold lock up shots and didnt see them. I barley know the rules and they were plane as day, i wonder why the bench didnt tell him. Can the bench talk to the player at the box? Like when Earl didnt call that one shot-what ever its called, they said the bench could call it. everyone seemed confused, which i suppose is natural.

Watchez Vince from Sham-wow made more $$$ than he could spend from that infomercial, that was a GRANDSLAM in the DM industry, it looks like shit but good lord did it ever work and no heat either.

You are confusing me - I have nothing to do with Bonus Ball. I want to bet they DID NOT have 10,000 unique viewers. I would want the login information myself to attest this for any sizable wager.

Uhhhh wasn't Rodney in the booth with JJ? They were confused when a ball was pocketed and scratched, it the point counted and what ball was suppose to be shot the next time they came to the table.

Again, this is just one example.

They should of have flashes come on the screen spelling out the rules to help people since the game is new to everyone - not the smallest font possible on some message bar on the bottom, below the screen. These could have been produced prior to the show or had someone produce others during the show if needed.

they are hockey looking things, probably a canada thing.....i suppose. Can you imagine Basivatich in one of those things, or me for that matter. Even Earl looked uncomfortable.

I get the team concept of wanting to look like each other to create franchises with in the brand, like major league sport does around the world, NBA, Cricket, FootBall(euro and American). But the cloths have to match the sport itself. Bowlers wear polyester, Golfers wear golf cloths, and snooker players wear snooker cloths. So BB should figure out what BB players wear-it aint hockey shirts, thats for sure. tacky. I like the Augusta look or the snooker look, a gentalmans look and if they pick up girl teams something that would look nice on the girls, they would look like jocks in those shirts.

they still have some very rough edges to work out, taking canada stuff to america isnt a plan, just like taking stuff from America to (pick a spot) other than fast-food and movies, whats in america stays there. And America dont import much except chinese shit in walmart and cars. it needs a american feel, like dave said-the augusta golf look would work.

i never said Rodney didnt get confused, he called a few things wrong JJ even more often, i just sad he knows the rules the best-i dont think anybody knows them all. or anyone can keep them straight. thats a different topic and we agree on that:thumbup:

I just read with a heavy heart that China has bought my beloved Smithfield hams from Virginia. :(

Kentucky Derby is sponsored by the Chinese Yum! company.

Don't worry, Bonus Ball. I'm sure you'll get picked up by China. Hang in there! :o

the game will be plagued with confusion for a very long time, its too intricate, by its own nature. imo

And how can Dennis Hatch not be on the NY team if you did city teams to drum up regional support?

I actually think it's strange that Earl is representing NY. Sure, he's living there now, but it makes about as much sense as Hillary Clinton getting elected as the Senator of New York. Earl's a Southern boy.

I know, we're both on the same side of this. Lenny offered an open wager for all of us. I can't see a smart admin giving anyone FTP access to the webserver though so a private FTP folder would do.

all you need is the server traffic logs, all the information is right there.

I enjoyed it even though I don't understand the rules of the game either. I love it when the pros make it look so simple. I also like the fitted look of the jerseys and don't think they're overdone at all. I, for one, don't want to see all the players in corporate looking polo shirts. For a minute there I thought Earl was gonna come out of his:D The studio looked professional (simple) & I can picture this on tv. The players kept looking back at the camera at what is probably the shot clock and I think that could be moved. That's my only complaint because my internet connection sucks regardless.
