NO Match for Harriman/Schmidt

This is my sideline opinion.
I think this is what happened.... After all of this exploded there was an explanation given and I accept Justin's word that Kim is good people. After this second explosion I can't look at Kimberly for what her brother posted. He was defending his sister and didn't ask permission to do so. Without jumbling it all together it comes down to her brother acting out and she would fire him if she could in my opinion . So that leaves the Mark deal. I think Mark and Kimberly just have different approaches to the sport and have no reason to believe different . I am not jumping on a bandwagon at all other than I too think Kimberly is good people

I agree, Kimberly does seem like good people and there is no doubt that she has good intentions. Her brother didn't do her any favors though, at all. But by the allusions he has made to discredit Mark's credibility went far beyond the "brother syndrome". He went way beyond defense of his sister IMO. If Mark had a shady reputation and past I would probably be in her brothers camp but that is not the case, I myself have never heard nor seen anyone say ANYTHING negative about Mark and how he does business.

IMO, this one is not evil - just rather complicated and simply unfortunate...

Differing philosophies + pool culture + (mis)communications = food for AZ fodder and a semi amicable separation + BB timing

It's our tendency to jump to conclusions (right JAM ;)), but facts are - we'll NEVER know how it all turned to shit.

Hey JAM, Spider, hows about we leave the military out of this and let them fight the true bad guys? You two seem to have sufficient intellect to battle with words.

Now, back to the subject. I see all this chatter about Str8 Shots and the good things they do and they're awesome folks, yada yada. Mark has been here for a long time, never had anything bad said about him or his events, and proven himself as a friend to the pool community. We at AZB had really never heard of Str8 Shots until Mark came on board and actually defended you when crap started hitting the fan. Given the details in this thread, letting Mark go after such a brief tenure suggests at best that Mark's role wasn't accurately defined and communicated and at worst implies some "shady" dealings. In either case, I fail to see how Str8 Shots can provide an adequate defense of this move.

I agree with the earlier post that there is plenty of $$ here in the AZB community that this would have been an excellent area to focus some fundraising efforts, but I sense that well may have dried up.

Actually.... you didn't. I asked you a question on what you'd call Brian's actions in this thread and you didn't answer-- you replied with a "my brother would kick your ass if he read this thread."

I was joking, I don't have a family member in the Delta Forces. I was making a point about how stupid your comment was. You can't hold you own in a debate and blindly favor a company who is posting disparaging remarks about a long-time member who never had any negative reports in regards to his integrity. We can't disagree with you calling someone a cyber-bully, so I said you were a fem-nazi...fittingly so.

Ya know... I'm not "anti-women" ... I <3 women!! What I'm anti-of is when you disagree with them and pepper them with logic, they go off and call in reinforcements: Fran calling lawyers and you calling your marine brother to kick the ass of an internet guy who is pointing out how biased you are in your posts.

You're so sideways in your positions, it wouldn't surprise me if he joined the Marines to get away from his nonsensical sister.

You know, I never threatened you, but yet you continue to embellish people's words on this thread and add your own B.S. Why? I'm not sure.

I answered your question about Brian, which is Kimberly's brother, by saying that my older brother would not stand by and watch anyone disrespect me. If they did, then they would not like the end result. This is a hypothetical that I presented as an illustration of how my brother would react to someone if the felt they were disrespecting his sister.

Now you take those words and say I threatened you. It doesn't do any good to reply to your question -- or anything you write, for that matter -- because no matter what is written, you will embellish it to mean something quite the opposite.

I'm sure you will dissect the words of this post and come back with what you will deem as a "witty" retort and what I will deem as a person in need prayers.

I like you very much and I don't consider you a bad or negative person. I just think you reacted negatively to something that was unclear.

I do think that others here have really gone off the deep end with their attacks and should be ashamed of themselves.

This is a really great company who are trying to do good things.

I disagree 100 percent. When a company can talk people about the concerns they have its never a bad thing.
