Depends on how much golf and poker you're playing......
For someone thats not a pool player you sure spend a lot of time around here.....

Just depends how do you feel- there are guys who almost don t need any training to bring their best performance. In my opinion a player from your level don t need that much practice as long you wanna play to *have fun*.
Perhaps 1-2 days- don t think you would need more. 2 months without shooting some balls are not that long

i guess the pros dont answer on here?
Chris...If you're asking the opinion of a professional instructor, my answer is that you're never "out of stroke". All it would take is someone offering you the "action" you thrive on, and you'd find your "stroke" in an hour or two (I think two weeks is far too long...you wouldn't need that much time). IMO, once you have 'grooved' your stroke like you have already (like most pro-level players), you never lose is...maybe get a bit rusty temporarily...but you never lose it. It's like riding a bike.

thanks i think i need 2 weeks
That's what I was thinking. It's not potting balls that takes long to get comfortable with it's the overall feel. Position play, speed control etc. And maybe even some instincts.
