Notice to Ultimate 10-Ball Players

Vests are prevention devices.

Bullet proof vest prevent getting shot, life vest prevent drowning and sweater vest prevent getting laid...........

If I were playing, I would ONLY wear a vest... And bowtie. Chip n dales style. Who could beat me like that???

Another classic quote from the Clearmeister!

I think it is absurd to ask the players to dress in a vest.....However, I understand the reasoning behind it, but the general public will not get it. Their first thought will be, "look at that douche bag wearing a vest".
Sad, but true.

I wore a suit on new years at the pool room, it included a vest, it had a little pocket that worked perfect for chalk, for a second I thought about wearing it all the time.
Only problem is, it's to hot sometimes.

Back in the day when Mosconi was playing Brunswick wanted tuxedos only.
Sure did wonders for pool.
Fats dressed slovenly and is probably the most known player.
Dress has nothing to do with pool.
I can understand them wanting players to appear in decent attire but wearing Dress shoes instead of a comfortable pair of Nikes?
How about a nice pair of jeans or pants with a shirt like the race car drivers wear or the pro fisherman wear? Now that would be the nutz with all the sponsor logos representing pool.

I'm not playing in it, obviously... And could care less if they lubed them up and made em wear thongs and party hats. But wearing a vest makes them look more like waiters than professional pool players. Give Shane a tray of o'dervs and bubbly and your all set!

A nice button down shirt and slacks looks much better.

cleary,

I know exactly what you're up to... You're trying to get a thread of your own started for "Unprofessional Conduct at Pro Tournament". I always knew you were just another attention........ craver:p

Why not a pair of creased khakis pants or black dress pants, white or black shoes and a button up long sleve collared shirt?

Awe-heck, they are adding $50,000 ($35G/ Men's & $15G/ Women's) What color vest would you like me to wear? I'm going shopping :)

I live in Vegas so when I see a guy in a vest I think off duty craps dealer not professional pool player.

Golden rule applies here though.

I swear one day I'm gonna do a tournament and make all the players dress up like their favorite Smurf as a condition of entry.

That's Easy!!!!

White stretch pants and a white cap, easy as pie, unless you want to be papa smurf then red with a white beard, some may want to be smurfette, which would require a blonde wig????hmmmm.....

I guess guys could come as the pre sex change smurfette with a black wig????

Could we come as gargamel or azrael or is it limited to smurfs and not characters from the smurfs????

Not having the choice of wear to stay would bother me more then the vest.

The rooms are normally 169 a night here.

1.)$99 for this a steal! sharing a room is allowed too.
2.) Full prepared breakfast included
3.) Staying where you play is the triple nutz.
